^^ is it really worth this hassle though?
3 court and 9 judges... how much life do they have to waste? These companies are vermin, their employees are low life scum, I'm not sure how much of my life I'm willing to give them.0 -
If we don't pay it, what would people write in the defence box?0

You've said you are going to pay over at Pepippo - £700 - and you haven't even asked as Solicitor who could fill the box in for you at much less than £700!

It may all look pretty daunting right now, and hopeless. But VCS's case is pretty weak. There's help to be had, but you must make it easy for them to help you (everyone's doing it for free). You are currently at the denial/frustration phase of the well-trodden change curve. Chin up, it'll get better.0 -
I don't think they're going to be top fussed about waiting it out and fighting it. It's hardly going to be hassle to them if this is how they stay afloat.
This isn't how they stay afloat. Court cases brought by VCS are very, very rare, they rely on the mugs who simply pay up. They have brought this one simply because of the number of tickets. Your task is to make it not worth their while.Je suis Charlie.0 -

if you bother to read the info in post #5 of the NEWBIES sticky thread, you will find an initial skeleton holding defence by bargepole, or the holding one in the parking pranksters court guide
as for a detailed defence down the line, nobody will write that bespoke one for free, which is why you were pointed at PPA on cowboys website, where given all the facts they may take on the case and write your wifes actual defence
you are trying to make sense of all this in just a few hours, even your solicitor may take days to understand it, plus most solicitors havent a clue about these matters anyway
rome wasnt built in a day , sleep on it, come back with a fresh mind when you are further along the path in the previous post #760 -
I'm in the phase of I haven't got a clue what's what. I speak to people on here they say one thing, speak to a solicitor they say another. On Google they say "don't engage with VCS" then other people say "you shouldn't ignore them".
The law doesn't seem clear, the next step seems muddy, I don't want to act in case it goes against my case in future.
At times it seems easy to just pay it. Now my wife is home she's fuming and willing to go kamakazi at them lol
Everything I've stated here is 100% truth and accurate.0 -
This is not the only VCS case. Another of 2 tickets has surfaced.
For one thing Anita Dile is a paralegal and doesn't appear to meet the requirements of practice direction 22. The particulars of claim do not comply with cpr 16.4 either. (if yours are similar to the ones i've seen)0 -
