There has to have been some incident that they can point to which started the clock on the time bar. Did you change your account or cancel the insurance ? What exactly do they say in their letter about it?robbies_gal wrote: »just their way of getting out of it isnt it
If the time bar has not been correctly imposed, you can refer your complaint to the Ombudsman.0 -
its basedon a loan so theyre saying when i got my original refund in 2012-i shojld have wrote a complaint thenWhat goes around-comes around0

That's a correctly applied time-bar then.robbies_gal wrote: »its basedon a loan so theyre saying when i got my original refund in 2012-i shojld have wrote a complaint then
Why didn't you complain in 2012?0 -

No time-bar was applied to the Op's complaint. It's not applied based on when the loan was taken out, but on when you should have reasonably known you had a complaint.robbies_gal wrote: »i dont understand though how others have their loans adjusted when its been more than 6 years like the op for instance0 -
but op one was way over 6 years so whats the differenceWhat goes around-comes around0

The difference is the OP had no refund a few years earlier which started the clock ticking on a time bar, you on the other hand...robbies_gal wrote: »but op one was way over 6 years so whats the difference
You should have complained about this in 2012 when you had your refund.
You failed to do so.
Any further complaint is now time barred0 -
