    sorry to bump sent my complaint letter to firstplus got an initial response from elderbridge stating barclays were the company who sold the loan so they have forwarded it them-finei thought

    a week later have received a letter from fp statiing it was central capital and they have forwarded my complaint to them

    so whuch is it or do barclays own ccl?

    Central Capital would have been the brokers, they sold the loan and PPI.
    See what response you get back.

    thanks yeah i assumed thatjust wondering why elderbridge have said it was barclays unless theyre misinformed

    First plus is Barclays, First plus sold the loan book to Elderbridge.

    just got a final reposnse saying i have a case its outside the time limits for complaingin as its over 6 years

    apparently i should have known to complain about it at the time this is their defence

    do i have any comeback on this since others have received refunds for over 6 years ago?

    When did you take this loan out?.
    How could you complain about this sooner when you did not know you had been mis sold?. It is only because of the mis sell saga over the past few years that consumers realised, especially with this type of single premium PPI, that they were in fact mis sold.
