I have looked their website and it would look as though I should be able to exchange it for the 3rd Generation
The thing is it was the 3rd generation I looked at online Saw that but comes in green and black. Read bit of review and respected your opinion. The sales staff have been very helpful in store They will be tired of me.
    Thanks again Sue

Seriously Susan...it is unfortunate that you have been unable to follow what I have been writing.
As stated time and again it was suggested that you do this online

Carphone Warehouse likely do not stock the model of which I have written.

The model they stock is the cheaper version with 8GB of storage and 1GB of RAM. In two colour choices; one with a white front and a green back and the other in black.

My suggestion was that you get the correct phone/contract via AMAZON using the link that I created for you.

But it's likely too late for that now, unless you decided to buy the phone outright rather than as part of a contract.

Just to recap, I wrote: Moto G 3rd Generation and make sure that it is the 16GB model. Available HERE

Amazon charges £15.50 per month for the 3rd Gen Motorola stocked by Carphone Warehouse and £17.50 for the superior model shown above.

I am so sorry I had looked at the correct phone online Somehow or other I got mixed up In elderly and had so many no's going round in my head.
They did have a line green phone on display.
I didn't want to buy a phone online as I wanted to actually see it and hold it.
It said £19 50 on the phone I am very happy to buy the phone and hope they can order it for me .
Again I am sorry and I do feel stupid Sue

Old habits die hard I suppose. Now you are doing it over the phone. Online just seems to escape you. :)
So what exactly are you getting for £19.50 per month?

Sorry you are so irate with me. I have apologised now more than once! I buy many things online normally. Flights, Hotels ,TV You View, Freezers, Printers, Laptops clothing footwear, books, music etc etc. I buy my groceries online from Sainsbury's I also bank online. Pay all billetc
The Phone was another thing. I really wanted to buy it from the shop to see it and probably have the sales assistant set it up for me. I think that at the end of the day this was my choice. Carphone Warehouse were very helpful and changed the phone without question. They simply switched it and I will pay only £15 50 month Yes it 8MB rather than the 16MB The manager explained that I could use a micro SD to add a further 8MB. He would have put it in for me today. (Cost £14 99) Because I do not have music on it, downloads play games, etc he said see how you go, At the end of the day I was paying £14 50 for my Nokia 520 with 200 mins 100 MB and I have 300 mins and 300 MB so I am very happy with my choice. I ask for advice but that does not mean I have to take it or follow this to the letter.
Thank you again At the end of the day I did buy the phone you recommended and I am very happy with it. Sue

    Irate? :rotfl:

No. Trying to make everything as clear as is possible ans wondering how you still manage to go off track. :)
It's 8GB, not 8MB, but that isn't the main issue. It is also that it has 2GB of RAM as opposed to 1GB.

My only intention was to make sure that you get the best value for money and the phone that you wanted.
I really don't mind which you chose...as long as you didn't pay too much for it.

So if you obtained the Moto G 3rd Gen with 8GB ROM and 1GB RAM together with the 300MB data contract for £15.50 per month, we are both happy.
No one asked you to follow it to the letter...you just seemed a bit 'all over the shop'. :)
But now it's all sorted. Top marks to Carphone Warehouse.

Though make sure that you do updates via WiFi, as 300MB isn't much.
