  • For those asking about the story line (if you are genuinely interested, I know eastenders can bore some lol)

Pam and Les Coker are in their 60s, married for decades. Recently Pam thought les was having an affair as he was spending a lot of time with Pams friend Claudette - however after finding out that he was semi dressed at Claudettes house, the truth has come out that he had been cross dressing and nothing physical between him and Claudette had happened

I don't think Les actually wants to be a woman, it seems to me, more of a way of being able to get in touch with / express his feelings and in his words 'be softer'.

Pam is currently in bits about it all, as feels there is a huge part of Les's life she knows nothing about so feels lied to about this part of it. I think when she recovers from this feeling she will support him

To be honest if it were me, if my OH I wouldn't mind - Unless he looked better in my dresses than me!

I would be very upset and angry that my husband couldn't share something so important with me.
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

I'd want to know what on earth I was drinking last night, as I have no recollection of marrying a man!

I kind of agree with this - I wouldn't be angry with my husband/partner for cross-dessing but I'd be upset that he hadn't felt able to share something like that with me, and I think it would make me take a hard look at our relationship, especially if it came out after so many years.

I just don't get it what thrill men get from this.

I'm a woman, if I put on "men's" clothes, jeans & a shirt/tshirt illy doesn't give me any sort of thrill.

Mind you there is a certain thrill with putting on high heels, maybe it's the heels.
Also I never go out without makeup, I don't feel clear or ready without it, so I guess I can understand the nice feeling of makeup.

Any men who cross dress care to share?

You wouldn't often see a woman wearing a masculine trouser-suit, bowtie and tuxedo, so I guess there are some forms of masculine clothing that are usually men-only.

I've seen DH in a cocktail dress and glittery sling-back stilettos for a fancy dress party, and despite him being bald and chubby he has a lovely pair of slim shapely legs. So if he came out as a cross-dresser, I'd have to ensure he chose mumsy jeans as I'd be too envious of his pins!
