Has anyone else had a payment confirmation email with bizarre amounts on? I did multiple sellers through the basket and it said checkout failed or something but I got an email but it says like -£423! And in paypal does it look like the full amounts have been taken until you click on the transaction?0

Looks like it's worked for me, despite some odd messages, across 5 vendors - hurrah, all being well, we have a nice printer amongst other things tucked onto the watch list!
Thank you Martin! (or I'd have missed it)0 -
Worked for me, £22 off a £110 spend. Something I was going to buy anyway so well timed code. I love saving money.
Purple321...yes, they send the whole amount to the buyer, but if you look at the details mine says 20% off code used and £22, and the right amount will be taken from my bank.I love a bargain. Now mortgage and debt free. hurray!!:smileyhea0 -
Is there a maximum price for the item? I know the maximum coupon is £50 so can i buy an item worth over £250 and still get the £50 off?0
-
I also got confused at first coz the Paypal email only showed the full amount, but when I logged into Paypal it showed the details with £50 voucher and the rest from my credit card. When I checked the pending transactions on the credit card it showed the correct amount too. So all appears to have worked correctly :beer:And in paypal does it look like the full amounts have been taken until you click on the transaction?0 -

You enter it at the Paypal checkout when you go to pay.0 -
Be careful if it tells you that your purchase failed. My son just bought a few low cost items , added all to his basket and checked out and got an error message saying try again later.
He checked his purchased items and nothing showed and his basket was empty, so he started trying to remember what he had bought to re add to the basket but decided to check paypal and the payment had actually gone. Now 3/4 of an hour later all the items show in his purchased list .I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
