Awwww HBS - I feel for you! I hate it when something throws my stats out. I run with Nike Plus alongside ZR. I can also link to friends to see what runs they have done and add a bit of a competitive edge. Gives me the kick I sometimes need if I spot they have done a run and I havent bothered in a couple of days,
I have JUST finished Season One. Have to do the races next, but can you tell me if you can spread the races out - for example, if I started the 20k - can I save it after 5k and then pick up where I left off a couple of days later?
If not, I'm going to have to get the bike out for that one - LOL0 -
I think you can. Or you could do what I did - walk/run but don't ZR and "bank" the kilometres in a notebook or on Nike Plus, then just listen to the missions on Constant Speed.
This has taught me I need a new phone

How many of you run outside?
All my running is outside and I'm signed up to do a 10k (outdoor) tomorrow. Problem is it's suddenly got cold - the weather says 3 degrees at the location - but every run I've ever done has been in knee-length jogger things & a running t-shirt. I don't want to be cold, but I don't want to suddenly do something new on a race day.
Any opinions?Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

I do ... I ran today with long sleeved base layer and full length jogger bottoms and shorts. It was chilly to start but it was warm once i got going. The base layer that I use is fairly wind proof.
I see people run in hats, gloves, jackets etc. But for me that is a full on winter run kit. I guess it depends on how much heat you generate whilst running and the wind chill.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -
Like Angry Bear I downloaded ZR after seeing this thread so thank you. A query though - it only shows steps for me, not kilometres, which I'm finding frustrating - any tips? Location is on and so is WiFi and 3G.
Angry Bear - I went out today for a 5k, it was about 4 degrees. I wore long joggers, a long sleeved running top and a zip up hoodie plus gloves. I thought about wearing a hat. In the 1st 5 mins I regretted not wearing the hat. After about 10 mins I removed the gloves and was glad I had no hat! After 15 mins I tied the hoodie round my waist (added bonus, it hides the wobbly fat rolls!). when I got home, having shamefully walked the steep hill, I was chilled on my arms and neck where the sweat was drying so I am glad I took the hoodie as I'd have been too cold without it.0 -
Thanks for the input folks. I went in my usual gear (3/4 trousers and a T) - it was fine.
I was a little cold to start with but warmed up quick, I think I would've been too hot in a jumperDo you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?

AB - glad the run went well!
Hi Kathy, are you on Android or iPhone?
Well, after a factory reset of phone and some tech help, it appears we all match up now - 8.24mins per km over 4kms, best time yet

Yey - sussed it. You can start the race and stop it and then resume it later! Result - I can now do the 20k Mission which is totally unrealistic for me in one hit! :-)0

Hi Heartbreak Star. I'm on iPhone but I think I got it sorted today. I had GPS set on the iPhone but not on Zombies Run (following an update it must have unset or something). It was a bad run though, really hard work. it feels like I'm getting slower!0
