  • Good evening everyone. I'm in - thank you for the list Bossy.

I've been busy today and have given the bedroom a thorough clean and changed the bed. I have also cleaned the loo and basin in the cloak room. I then cleaned the sink and worktops in the kitchen and then decided to do the cooker and hoover the floor and deweb the ceiling too too. I also managed to get two loads of washing washed and dried. Just a small pile of ironing left to do but that can wait till tomorrow!

    Hope everyone is well?

    I have a Borg kitchen...

Resistance is.. a few tiles! .. Borg kitchen.. :p

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:looks like a lot of tiles to me.

    re socks

    two things

for 'multiple male' houses. allocate each male a colour and then buy plain *that colour* socks. Buy loads at the same time and they will pair their own;)

Piggers had the solution re her girls - just bought a different pattern of white socks - and, agin, loads of identical socks.

I have a lost sock basket too; they're almost always DS's that go missing.

Washing left out while i was at work; now I'm home I have brought it in and ironed it; now on the maiden airing.

Checked e mail just before I left - and an Amazon sale WOOT

  • Evening all,

No point posting list as only managed daily stuff, Monday always a bad day. Gave dog a stick to chew yesterday while we were out, she has chewed it everywhere, bits of it in every room , like a protest. Each bit just slightly bigger than Henri can eat. Grrrrrrr.
  • Hi all

Busy day, havent actually done any real flying, other than the basics. Might just have 15 minutes swishing the duster round our bedroom and tidying up before I get into bed.

Socks. I only wash socks in pairs. Any leftovers stay in the laundry basket. Once in a while I tip the basket out and bin any strays.

Need to be up and on tomorrow, tea to go in sc and washing to hang out before paid stuff.

Still running out of time, but I've
    - finished 1 report and emailed it, done 80% of the next and may even finish it tonight as I'm an owl.
    - Did 4 units of mindfulness course (lol it was "avoidance and procrastination" both of which I'm seriously good at. Like now.)
    - filled bird feeders, they are really starting to come back now it's getting colder. Goldfinches, greenfinches, blue tits and great tits mainly with a few sparrows. No fairies yet. Sad alert * when Mr N cleared out a nesting box yesterday, he found a cute moss, fur and feather-lined nest with 9 unhatched tiny eggs in. Probably blue tit.
    - got lovely email from mum of student whose report I sent last week, apparently the girl was grateful for my "kind and understanding approach" - it is so nice when people bother to let me know things like that, I really appreciate it.

    Oh well, procrastination time over.

Listed a couple od DS's law books on amzon - but some - well £2? not worth the effort.

Would the Flylady who suggested a bookselling site some weeks back (was it Jazee?) be so kind as to refresh my memory?

    Morning all

Mumto5 good luck for your interview today.

Hoping my car will finally be fixed today.

I've been up a good while writing some lists to try to get some sort of plan as to when I can do all the tasks which need doing (non flying). Feeling a bit overwhelmed by the backlog. There are a few small tasks I could tackle today. Just at that stage where for every job you do 4 more seem to appear.

    Morning ladies!

Good luck with the interview Mumto5 - keeping everything crossed for you x

Hound is home and resting and I think I'm in love with the vet who charged me less than half what I was expecting! Definitely organising some beers to say thank you.

Good day so far, but then I'm not dressed yet :rotfl: let the battle commence!
