Hi all! Thanks for last week natty and for this week bossy. I'm in this week. Managed a good weekend of sorting so hopefully this week should be doable.... lol.

Our room seriously needs dusting. It'd just one I'd them places I never remember to do.

Will also help dd2 with room tidying later. It won't take long but she's a bit overwhelmed I think!

Kitchen will need some decent work....

Right off to dust bedroom before school run x

ARGH SOCKS!!!!! The bane of my life. It takes me ages to get around to doing the sock bucket and then when I do, it can take an hour to "try" to pair them up. I've left it for a good long time now and everyone just seems happy to dig in and wear odd socks anyway. What is the answer? Throw them all out and go out and buy a batch of black socks? The thought of wearing socks my teenage son has been wearing makes me feel quite ill. Any tips appreciated ......
Narc0 beat me to it - I was also going to suggest one net bag per person to keep socks sorted. Depending how many people you are washing socks for, you could even sew a little bit of coloured thread onto each bag, so that they are "colour-coded" for ownership, a bit like battery-operated toothbrush heads.:o

I'm in as best I can this week; Patch will be here all week (so 2 x 30 mins to 1 hour walks per day) and obviously her needs come first.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Post lunch update :p

TMD - There's only 2 of us here and when it comes to socks we both wear black ones, however mine tend to have patterns on the soles and DD's are as plain as possible (except for her weekend ones which are bright trainer socks or footy socks). We each have a basket (like a supermarket one) which I sort the non-iron clean washing into. I just fling DD's straight into her basket as she likes wearing odd socks. Mine I pair as I sort out the dry washing. Odd socks get put in as well as 9/10 the other one turns up next time.

Mumto5 - Good luck for tomorrow.
Embb - Good luck keeping up with the vaping.
Kaz - Well done on the insurance
Dizzy - Hope the op goes well

I'm in the middle of doing accounts. I've just gone through my Mr A receipts I could find. Nearly £5 in vouchers now in my purse towards the shopping later ;):money: Hvaing a break here as I'm seeing numbers before my eyes. Going to sort out a couple of bills and then run to the local school to collect my books, then I'll come home and pay the bills, and sort out my grocery list for later. DD is at choir so I don't expect her home until nearly 5pm due to buses so we'll eat before we hit Mr A. DD grocery shopping when hungry is not good for my budget or my sanity as she get hangry

    Personal:
Dailies: [STRIKE]dishes[/STRIKE], S&S kitchen, - Still more dishes to do, but DD can go them :p
    Laundry ([STRIKE]towels x2, [/STRIKE]cloths) - 1st load in
    Accounts - Half done
    HGP jobs
    Clean front of the house
Sort dehumidifiers for bathroom and DD bedroom
Shredding - need to fix/buy shredder
Stuff to charity shop - half way there
Nag DD over arrangements going away - Thur/Fri
    Plan bake sale stuff

Bedroom unfluffling: dust and deweb all your lovely clear surfaces, and Hoover up all that fluff. Get the nozzle out (oo-er missus) and tackle your edges, corners, skirting and behind anything you can safely reach. Wipe over light switches and door handles.

Shine your sink and S&S the kitchen work tops

Time to stop procrasting with these bills. Sitting here doing other things won't get them plaid.

I really, really want to fly this week but the rib pain is making me feel rubbish and now a bit down too. I haven't read the thread yet as have been sulking upstairs all day. No one came to see if I was still alive so down for some tea and yogurt.

Hugs for those that need them xx

    Howdy!

Back from paid stuff and no-one in office tomorrow so I'm going to work from home for the next two days. Which I'm pleased about!

Just put my work clothes away and about the get the vac out. I also did my bed this weekend so I'll skip that part. Then I'll head downstairs to sort dinner and deal with the downstairs loo.

Any requests for Tuesday, folks? Living room? Room of Doom? Drop a comment in anyone has a preference- before I do the list later :)

Gentle hugs to those with achey joints and bones xx
