Thanks for thd new list Bossy.

DS3 has a 2 week half term starting today. Hes had a lie in whike i took DD2 to school and walked muttley.

I need to get DD2 some clothes. Half term is looming and she has outgrown everything that is for the colder months. A trip to Chelm5f0rd is the likey outcome.

I have an interview in Cam8ridge tomorrow. I need to decide what to wear, i will ponder while I clear the bedroom.

Lots to list on eb@y. Need to make cash to fund DD2's new clothes!

Wishing everyone a good week x

Have nipped into town with a list. There is free parking until 10:00am so trip planned with military precision. Also, was a moneysaving trip so I was going where things are cheaper. Visited about 5 shops plus bank, picked up free birdseed from Sunday Express and got back to car in good time. I don't feed the birds here because of the cats but my b-i-l is an avid feeder of them so I will send it to them maybe unless, after secret santa is allocated because if I get him I will add it in to make gift look lavish :rotfl:
We are having a whole family secret santa this year and I have come up with an idea for coded envelopes so you will be allocated a code (per household) and the envelope you get will have a different code. i think it will work. We have to have a wishlist, too.

Wilkos are selling a dozen jam jars for £5.

Washing went on line before I went out. As it's dry, bright and sunny I'm thinking of diverting to kitchen today as I can mop the floor and have the back door open to dry it. And I put the bulb in the oven!

  • ARGH SOCKS!!!!! The bane of my life. It takes me ages to get around to doing the sock bucket and then when I do, it can take an hour to "try" to pair them up. I've left it for a good long time now and everyone just seems happy to dig in and wear odd socks anyway. What is the answer? Throw them all out and go out and buy a batch of black socks? The thought of wearing socks my teenage son has been wearing makes me feel quite ill. Any tips appreciated ......
