    Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    I'm in again this week :D Thanks Bossy for the lists :)

    Rather than just S&S the bathroom I've cleaned it properly. I just need to do the floor later. I still need to rescue the kitchen from yesterdays baking as I didn't have the energy last night to wash up. :o I have a massive paper list here of things I want to get done today and I've started on tomorrows list as well! Some work related bits may roll over to Wednesday as they're not urgent but need to be done by the weekend while others need to be done before tomorrow. However today seems to be on double speed time wise while I'm on my normal speed so I best get moving!

    Personal:
    Dailies: [STRIKE]Beds,[/STRIKE] dishes, laundry load, S&S kitchen, [STRIKE]S&S bathroom, dog walk[/STRIKE]
    Laundry (towels x2, cloths) - 1st load in
    Accounts
    HGP jobs
    Clean front of the house
    Sort dehumidifiers for bathroom and DD bedroom
    Shredding - need to fix/buy shredder
    Stuff to charity shop - half way there
    Nag DD over arrangements going away - Thur/Fri
    Plan bake sale stuff

    Super Monday! - Master Bedroom plus S&S
    Level 1

    [STRIKE] Bedroom clearance: clear the floordrobe, tops of drawers, windowsills etc. Then the bed, remove any stray items and strips and remake the bed.[/STRIKE] Only changed the bed yesterday!
    Level 2
    Bedroom unfluffling: dust and deweb all your lovely clear surfaces, and Hoover up all that fluff. Get the nozzle out (oo-er missus) and tackle your edges, corners, skirting and behind anything you can safely reach. Wipe over light switches and door handles.
    Level 3
    Shine your sink and S&S the kitchen work tops
    Extras
    • [STRIKE]Put a wash on[/STRIKE]
    • Make any plans needed for half term - I'm working Monday/Tuesday and DD is away from Saturday but no idea yet when she'll be back so planning is not possible except for a to do list. :(
    Right, off to the kitchen to tackle the dishes, slice/wrap/freeze cakes then maybe I can get on with financial things! :wave:
    Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
    Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

    ARGH SOCKS!!!!! The thought of wearing socks my teenage son has been wearing makes me feel quite ill. Any tips appreciated ......

    How about getting some of those net bags intended for 'delicates' - I use them to separate items on holiday. then each family member could, in theory, be trained to have a bag each and just put their own socks in. Wash them in the bag, give 'em back in the bag? I got several bags for less than a fiver.

    Thanks for the lists Natty and Bossy. I'm Flying solo this week as there are still 40kgs of apples on the dining table, and we've got a lot of coming and going of Italians and assorted other lodgers. Lovely. Shower room and double bedroom turned around yesterday, superking due tomorrow and my office on Wednesday, plus assorted rooms when they're dire. Like now. *sigh* 18 more jars added to the stash from one of my new friends from plastering. I felt a bit furtive nipping out late last night to collect them but they're currently in the dishwasher.

    Well done on the vaping, embb. I should imagine the money saving racks up quite quickly these days - it was bad enough when I stopped, and I was on duty frees 15 years ago!

    Good luck with the interview tomorrow Mumto5. Fingers crossed for you, which will be a bit uncomfortable for me, but if it helps in anyway, it'll be worth it.
    Better is good enough.

    Back to socks - I've got a sock basket which odd ones get thrown in after I've paired up anything which has come off the washing line. Every now and then I go through it in case any of them have found a mate. But it is only ever mine which get 'lost'; Mr N's socks remain as a pair curiously.

    Time for a:coffee: now. I have:
    - picked up most of floordrobe in bedroom
    - phoned potential client who spoke at length
    - caught up with emails
    - done one load of washing, now on line (no socks!)
    - checked a final draft of jointly owned document and emailed comments
    - I think that just makes 2 things off the flagged email tasks :(

    Doesn't seem a lot, where has the time gone?

    tmdi~~ you buy for your self new 'girly' type socks that your son would NEVER wear.
    I also like the idea of net bags for each person, in fact I'll use that one.

    House insurance due, had renewal in post, it had gone up £11.25 per year, so rang them up this morning and told them I was struggling could they take £25 off, got £15 off, so I'll have that as well, ££ less than last year, and cheaper any thing else I can findon internet / quidco etc.

    Shopping done
    Bank done
    Post Office done
    Lunch done
    3 more xmas gifts sorted for a total of £10.01, 3 already bought £15.25, I have 3 more gifts to buy, and well within my allocated budget of a total of £50 for all of them, I am being very fugual this year on ££ for gifts, but looking around / hunting out bargin etc seems to be working. Told folk it is 'token' gifts this year, and no one seems to mind and if they do it is tough..............

    Been to the vets (an hour's drive each way) leaving a very sad puppy behind for his op. Waiting to hear how it went then I've got to collect him at 5pm, if all went well. Fingers crossed x

    WM & TD both on second loads, kitchen tidied, floor swept and DW emptied. Also cleared the floordrobe in the master bedroom and all ironed bits put away.

    Thinking about sorting lunch for Tiny, then I might sneak in a nap until collection Small after sports club.

    Result on the insurance Kaz! Mine is an absolute fortune, but we are taking measures which should see it reduce down to a sensible amount soon. Waiting for a quote from a builder for a limestone wall, but he's flat out at the moment, so who knows when he can get that to me.

    Hi everyone,

    I would love to join in again this week. I'm at work all week and get home around 6pm, so after showering, cooking tea etc, this only gives me an hour or two to get the house work sorted in the evenings, therefore I tend to do a more thorough clean at weekends.

    I de-cluttered lots of clothes (mostly new with tags on but which I know will not be worn) to give to charity and have had a good sort through my wardrobe last night so feel quite motivated for the week ahead.

    My plan for tonight is:

    * Laundry
    * Dust/Polish
    * Vacuum
    * List items on ebay

    I also have the online food shop delivered tonight so will have a good sort through the fridge/cupboards.
