    Morning all!

Just consuming my second proper coffee of the day. BM it was a very late one, I got into bed at 3am  Back up at 6.45 and doing housework by 7am :eek: I think I freaked the dog out setting the washing machine on a timer judging by his behaviour first thing so I don't think I'll be using that feature again when I need to go to bed :o

DD is packed and already left. That was amusing as she wanted to take her old PE holdall bag, but 5 days worth of clothes, plus toiletries, plus coat & shoes meant they wouldn't fit. She just looked at me with puppy dog eyes so I packed it all in her suitcase instead so in theory there is enough 'spare' room that she should be able to pack it all in on the way back. She also took 2 carrier bags with the gifts in and a 'handbag' and I bet she comes back with the same amount of bags :rotfl:

I've been flying this morning so I have stuff to cross off the list, but I still have upstairs to do which I'll start when I'm done here checking my email etc. I will have the whole house clean, and have time for a bath if I can stay awake :rotfl:

Just realised the dog has only had a slice of toast this morning so I best feed him before I go upstairs. Judging by how fast the last 20 minutes have gone I best move myself.

So pleased to hear Muttley is ok

FWIW I 'hide' stuff (from animals) in the microwave. If you ever dare set another batch to soak, that is!

Rabbit hutch moved into new place (got a 'new' one for a bargainous price, an upstairs/run attached one).
Still need to clean old hutch and stick it on Facebook, but it's raining.

    Raining here too.

    Washing on the maidens
DH and DS2 too the concrete to the dump
chatted to DS1 on the phone
    chatted to DS3 on whatsap

Going to quickly wash the bathroom floor then take DS2 to football, DH has gone to collect the car bonnet. I'll pop to the shops near football for an hour then home to paperwork for the rest of the day for me.

Ionafan, that cake is a work of art! I kept a Patesserie Valerie marzipan camel for years and it made me smile every day. I hope you get to keep at least one of your lions' head's, even if Cecil get scoffed by Daniel. The whole thing is just lovely.

I simply could not work out why it would take two people to collect a bonnet Dusty, until I realised that you don't live in Jane Austen land, as I apparently do.

Sorry about your tooth and the travelling library, Narco. I hope the tooth settles down really quickly.

Glad to hear Mutley was just about well enough home, Mumto5, and thank you for letting us know. I hope he continues to need to go outside for as long as it takes to get rid of the stuff. I keep thinking about him, wishing him well. Another excellent idea, Valli, about the microwave; I'll bear it in mind. Kelpie is a terrible thief and has taken to trying to get the cat's bowl off the hob, so I know he'd give soaking fruit his best shot as well.

It's taken him six months of being here (29th April was adoption day) but he gave me a play bow this morning for the very first time. I'm chuffed to bits.

I'm not sure if I can face apples today. A friend has asked for some, so that'll get rid of another batch. Good.

I've got a shower room to do, two rooms to turn around after a departure and a needed room swap plus an arrival tomorrow. I'm too tired to face any of it right now.
    Better is good enough.

HB it was meant to be to spend sometime together as DS3 is away for the weekend. We barely spend anytime together, acutally just about none. Anyhow decided I didn't want to spend 3 hours in the car.

Plan to ring to see how Mum is getting one
Plant some bulbs in a wooden planter and then settle to all the paperwork as it is turning into a huge frog.
