Ionafan fabulous cake, I know it will taste as good as it looks.
Mumto5 hugs and doggy be well wishes.
Very unproductive day, halfof it spent at Mum's. Going to wash up now and read in bed I think. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Hugs to Mumto5 and CY
Not a great deal of flying this week other than basics and cooking, with the odd tidying. Vacuumed lounge/diner/hall this afternoon following an assessment this morning with a 14 yr old () who left little piles of mud everywhere.
My tooth still aches after the dentist's ministrations on Wed; she re-filled it rather than taking it out as I expected. Not too impressed as it hurts rather more than before I went in. Thought it may take a day to settle after she wrestled with it, but seems like longer......
Still playing catchup with report writing, but not so much work booked for the next 2 weeks so fingers crossed.
It must be autumn; we keep going to the pictures - Suffragette on Tues (half price ticket day, book-on-line upgrade to comfy seats) and just booked next Tues for Spectre (ditto tickets).
Sad day for villages today; the last visit of our mobile library as the service is being cut. I took a card to the librarian as he has been so helpful over the years, recommending me books that his wife enjoyed; finding me bird books when I'd booked a holiday. Bless him, he even brought me a book today which I'd mentioned last time as wanting.
Oh well work calls. Happy weekend everyone.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Narc0lepsy Your tooth sounds dreadful. I hope it settles down over the weekend.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Evening all
I got most of my errands run today...but no flying done really.I did however manage to get just about all the donations to the charity shop. That's 12 boxes and 2 suitcases of stuff gone :j There is still more to go to other homes and a to sell pile...but I'm leaning more and more towards just donating the lot and being done with it
The plan was to fly tonight, but I had to run back into town to pick up something I forgot and got stuck in traffic on the bus due to an accident. I eventually arrived home over 2 hours later when I could have walked there, done the errand and walked back in less time! While I was out DD was supposed to wash up, tidy up the kitchen from all the shopping that was just dumped, empty her school bags so that uniform could be washed, and get her stuff together to pack. She washed up, tidied up some of the kitchen and watched anime online  Then announced at 9.30pm that she doesn't have enough clothes or underwear for her going away for 5 days. To say the air was blue would be an understatement so I am now up, with the washing machine going on the shortest wash cycle trying to get her laundry done. It seems just to top it off she's worn every sweatshirt and pair of socks she owns this week. There's more non-uniform clothes of hers in the wash than mine! So I'm going to use the time to tackle the fly list jobs (except windows and vacuumming although I am tempted!) which I can get done pretty quick.
Oh and the plans are no longer to go out to eat, but to stay here with a takeaway and wine so the house HAS to be clean as we could end up eating pizza in my bedroom if the dog doesn't accept them lol  That solves a few issues as well like what to wear lol Add to that that ex-FIL will be picking DD up at 9.30am and its going to be an early start here as well as a late night. I best get started!

teacher trainng day about an hour's drive away in the direction of DS in 'Swizzels City'.
So, instead of coming home after it I drove through Pigger's favourite town (Stockport) to South Manchester and saw my baby boy. And we walked to the Curry Mile and ate. And got student discount! Mutley has spent all day in the vets costing me £££'s. She really should stay in overnight but hubby has only been back in work for two months and we still have lots of debts to pay off, it is £200 for overnight!!!! Her tummy is distended, gratefully it seems to be refucing and now she is asleep at my feet. We have had several explosions from her rear end . This is all part of the process! I am in for a long night sleeping on the sofa I can't bear to come down in the morning to a kitchen full of doggie mess in the morning.
Thank you so much for all your good wishes it really means so much to me I love the sense of community on this thread.0 -

- 7 loads of washing through the machine. Got another towel one I'll put on a delay to come on about 5.30am if I can get the maths right, then its just all the throws, dog related stuff and bedding, plus any clothes that get put in the wash when showers have been had
- Gifts are wrapped
- rubbish is bagged and ready to go out when I get up,
- reed diffuser refilled with some fresh oil (didn't know it needed doing until I climbed up to dust the top of the bookcase
- desk area tidied up, customer info and other stuff like that away along with any other paperwork that can be stashed. Not that I don't trust my friends, its just I'd really like to not have it sitting there staring at me while I have a weekend off
- Phone charged up, and portable charger also charged up.
- Returns to make bagged up and ready with the receipts to take back (Change of plans means I can return clothes I bought for going out as they all look awful on anyway. It'll then give me a chance to find something I actually like:rotfl:)
- kitchen tidied up
And I do believe I've hit the point with jobs downstairs where I can't do much more without the vacuum or daylight, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow. It looks much better, but still needs stuff doing lol I'll get there. I always do lol
