Internet without a Landline

You can get Virgin BB without a landline (however, they offered it to me for less with the landline than without!).
If you've got an EE phone, having EE BB gets you an additional 10GB allowance on your mobile's data plan. (But EE BB isn't particularly great and it does require a landline...)0 -

Around where we are we have 2 providers that provide internet via a receiver on the roof. No landline needed. These are local companies that operate in this area though. I doubt it is much cheaper to get it without a landline nationally though.
It is only worth it here as the cheapest package is about £30 a month. (we don't have cable or BT)
I have the same through a local provider, 30GB allowance a month for £15. Does my needs. Would recommend that option to be honest, the OP hasnt put where they live. Maybe if we find out we can help more?Old Faithful we roam the range together,

I keep thinking about ditching my unused BT line and going with Virgin, but it hardly seems worth it.
I currently pay £15.29/mo for BT Line Rental and £15/mo (I think) for Sky broadband (~20Mb/s, unlimited).
Virgin Media offer a faster 50Mb/s connection, but it's £30.25/mo -- almost the same as what I pay now.
With a Virgin phone line, it's £34.49/mo (albeit with a £12.51 discount for 9 months).
So, I guess I'll stay with Sky for now... :-/0 -
Dunno if you still can, but get a mifi type device, tmobile payg sim, load up £20 and text 6monthweb to 441. Supposedly a limit of 1gb a month before it slows you down, but I've been waaaay over just fine. Dunno if its 4g though, but even so its better than nowt, and fine for most things other than online gaming or torrenting0

That's just the published price. I'm currently paying £16.50 a month for it.
Others have claimed to get cheaper for phone & BB, but I've always been satisfied with my first offer, so never pushed it.0 -
