How do you rate the Weatherproofs?
    Are they noisy?

The weatherproofs are rated A/69dB for noise. We've only done one long-ish trip in them so far and they are certainly no noisier than the previous factory-fit summer Hankooks.

Long trip to the Alps and back next week though so will get more experience of them then - will be actively looking for some snow to test them on. :D

Does anyone where i can sell on my Michelin Primacy 215/50/R17 part worn tyres? Im sure they will be of use to someone as 2 have 3-4mm and 2 have 5mm tread still on them....do people buy tyres part worn like this?

Stick them on eBay, people sell tyres on there all the time.

Be realistic with the price and sell them as a job lot.

Yeah i just didnt want to waste time and money listing them on Ebay without knowing if the 2 at 3mm were too worn to sell on? Any ideas on rough going rates for 4 like these?

Start 'em at 99p, and let the market set the value. Plenty of good clear photos, and an absolutely honest description.

Your size is a popular one.

I would suspect they would be worth £50/80 for four. As the buyer will be taking a chance and have to pay £40 or so to have them fitted and balanced.

I would reckon that size would be about £30/40 each fitted at a used tyre place. At least that is the price you pay round my way, there could be regional variations.

There is always a market for used tyres of a decent make as sometimes people just need tyres to see them through till they sell it and to put brand new would be a waste of money in the short term.

Also put 4 cross climates on my focus 205/55/R16/94V
Recommended by Costco Manager who said he had been on Jolly at factory and he was impressed by them. £237 cost in July.

Distinctive pattern hope they do better than my primacy's this winter

Sadly they don't do the Cross Climates in the size I currently need.

I have to go for 185/65/14 instead of 175/70/14 to get the Nokian Weatherproof.

I would try Gumtree first, if they sell there you don't have the eBay fees or the hassles with a crooked seller who decides your 3mm is actually 2mm and demands a refund.
