Hurray! I tried to post yesterday, but tinternet wouldn't cooperate.
Two things I wanted to suggest were: 1. Talk to your GP about how the diagnosis has knocked you sideways and ask if there are any support groups locally. Also ask if you can see a counsellor with knowledge of your illness so that you can talk through your feelings and what practical steps you can take (both now and in the future).
2. Have you talked to your employers about your diagnosis, and asked what support they can put in place for you? What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -

 Hi Popstess and great news on your parcel.
I asked St. Anthony to find it for you and he must have listenedHes the saint that helps to find lost objects. I have asked him to also look for my sanity that I've lost but maybe hes a little busy right now:rotfl:
Anyway so glad you had some positive news.
Hopefully your down moments are history and you will get back in to the positive frame of mind again

Just wanted to report after a stressful night with my pre teen, homework stresses!!! I had planned to prepare a chilli con carne to go in the slow cooker in the morning for tomorrow's tea and then I started talking myself out of it, it was late I was tired I had a stressful evening etc etc, but my concience starting pricking and I thought no you have bought the ingredients and you are working late tomorrow so if you don't prep it the ingredients will go to waste and you'll end up buying a takeaway or eating rubbish for tea tomorrow. Soooooo.... I decided to play a little game with myself and time how long it took to prep it. Can you believe it took me 6 minutes to prepare a decent tasty meal that will hopefully do 4 meals maybe even 5! 6 minutes! No excuses at all!!! It's in the fridge so all I have to do in the morning is take the dish out of the fridge pop it in the slow cooker switch it on that will take less than a minute and when I get home from work I'll have a lovely home cooked meal
Then being the saddo that I am I decided to go and add up how much all the ingredients cost to make it £4.26 for 4/5 meals so less than a pound per meal for less than 7 mins work.
Woop chuffed with myself when I break it all down like that I can see the worth in it all.
Sorry for the wrong rambly post
Hi!
Just wanted to say I am making my way through your diary and well done, keep going!
I've gotten as far as the above post. Could you tell me exactly what you did please as it sounds great. I'm not the best cook though. But the idea of something taking 6 minutes to prepare and then chucked in the slow cooker the next day, wow!Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Hi love thank you for thinking of me I'm very low at the moment but I've bought some St John's Wart and some sleeping tablets today after another night of 2 hours max sleep and a full day's work. I'm still around still reading still trying to keep out of debt but putting my debt busting on hold for a little while until I feel a bit better. So happy you're still smashing the debt busting Hun x0

Hi POPS
So sorry your feeling downThis time of year is challenging at the best of times eh.
Just concentrate on getting yourself well.
Have you always had trouble sleeping or is it a recent thing?
Maybe a chat to your GP might help.
