  • I haven`t costed it yet as our recent insurance for the previous year has just run ou. But we normally go with Tesco insurance . Give them a ring- you will have to disclose the transplant and giv e . I wouldnt go specificly for these companies who deal with pre-existing things- a we found them an extortionate rip-off. Good luck.:)

With rising fuel prices, is it still best to wait 3 months before to book flights/holidays on expedia as the prices are sky high at the mo

I wouldn't wait this year, fuel prices are rising and so are fuel surchurges, departure tax went up in November and there are strong rumours the Chancellor is going to announce a further increase in his Budget on Wednesday

Hello, I'd be ever so grateful if anyone could help please, I'm taking my boyf away for his birthday next month(!) of course need to book the flight ASAP, just wondering if I'm missing any discount tricks? I've gone through skyscanner etc

The Quote itself: £656.69 inc. pp (£1313.38 total)
    The Airline: Delta (through Ebookers)
    The departure Airport: Manchester
The Holiday Dates: 16th April - 22nd April
The number of people travelling: 2
Is an in-flight meal included: Yes (but not bothered about these)
Any specific requirements: Am happy with Birmingham or Manchester Airport (or any other close to Midlands) but not London please
We want to fly out on the 16th or 17th (if there's a big price difference), but we must be back by early morning the 23rd April.

These flights leave Manchester 16th April at 11.05am, arrive JFK at 13.55pm and return 22nd April at 19.40pm, arriving Manchester on the 23rd at 8.10am

They are direct, which isn't crucial, but is preferable of course

I have an AMEX card if that helps as I know some airlines offer discounts, I also use Quidco and Topcashback

    Thank you so much
  • Anyone else have any advice about whether to wait 3 months before or not? At the moment its coming up at 800+ for the salisbury in september direct from manchester (its a 2 and a half star in times square area where i want to be)-at the start of the year i could have got a great deal through expedia but didnt take the chance and now the same hotels are well expensive. Is it poss to get this kind of holiday say 40-50 cheaper in sept or is this the best its going to get (i.e. it will only go up or does anyone else think prices come down 3 months before). I've been told hotels go down around labor day as many people leave for vacation
