Marky,
You're right. Sorry mate.
I was so anxious to see if 'my deal' could be beaten I didn't look for the right thread!
However, in light of 'your deal' 'looks like I've haven't done too badly. Thanks for your reply.

Have booked to fly Gatwick to JFK in Oct with Zoom, £175.50 each, ('Economy Standard') to fly out & £99.75 each to return, coming back we decided to pay £30 more for a 'Premium Economy' seat, total, incl all taxes, etc, £550.51, I've looked at flights today & prices have increased in total by over £40 in 4 days, so get in there quick if you want to book a flight!!FAIRTRADE NOT FREE TRADE

Not sure if this helps...Just booked with BA (sale at the moment), manchester to JFK return £235 each return including tax, surcharges etc. London was a similar price.0

i've seen fares from Manchester to LGA with US Air for only £220 around at the moment... bargains galore0

I'm slightly bored at work today, so i've done some flight checking for best prices over the upcoming weeks.
All the following prices are based flying from Manchester, flying out Thurs, coming back on the Monday. (4 nights) 1 person only, through expedia.
6th Sept - £233
13th Sept - £233
20th Sept - £286
27th Sept - £261
4th Oct - £261
11th Oct - £261
18th Oct - £233
25th Oct - £258
And the same for departing from London Airports
6th Sept - £237 LGW
13th Sept - £237 LGW
20th Sept - £237 LGW
27th Sept - £231 LHR
4th Oct - £231 LHR
11th Oct - £231 LHR
18th Oct - £238 LHR
25th Oct - £238 LHR
I'm not saying these are going to be the cheapest, but it gives you some indication of what is available, and i know none of these beat the zoom! offer at the moment, but you are getting a full service carrier rather than a budget carrier for only a couple of £££ more...
also, it is worth shopping around - MAN - LGA on expedia (US Airways) comes up at around £330, however, through usairways own website it is only £235.
I'll try update this or repost new ones on a monthly basis, if people think this is going to be useful0 -
HI
We arte thinking of going to New York for a 5/6 day break anytime from saturday onwards.....flying out of Manchester or Gatwick.
Does anybody know of any good, reasonable web sites? TIA0 -
It's mine and DH 30th birthdays next year
. And I am trying to decide on whether to buy him a Rado watch or take him to New york for a couple of days.
So guess I am after a rough price for the holiday and who best to travel with or book through.
We would be going from Newcastle or surrounding areas preferably in April.
Have had a quick look and worked out we could get flights for about £750 ish going 17th till 20th. No idea about hotels and the like either.
Any advice much appreciated (and needed)
Ps Am hoping the holiday works out cheaper than the watch as I will benefit from the holiday as well :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Newtonlot on an MSE mission0 -
Hi
Does anyone know if Flyglobespan will be repeating their flights out of Liverpool to New York and Toronto next year? I had heard that they weren't that popular this year and so may have decided to pull the plug. Their website doesn't look promising either or am I just looking too early?
Many thanks in advance....0 -
