k3v. It would appear that if you book the BA flight Manchester to JFK on www.americanairlines.co.uk the fare works out at £342pp inc tac which is a saving of about £137pp as compared to booking it direct with BA on www.ba.com

And it's the same flight!!!!!!!

how do you check if flights are code share?

edit, ive just googled it and it appears AA dont fly from manchester to newyork, so am i right in thinking all AA flights are BA? I cant get the prices anywhere near £300pp anyhow.... nevermind. cant get 342 either

k3v. You're getting a bit bogged down here. BA and American Airlines are members of the OneWorld Alliance and American are allocated certain seats on BA flights, often at a lower price than if you purchased direct from BA (don't ask me why btw). Please be patient and carefully check the options available to you on www.americanairlines.co.uk (including the advanced options). The Manchester to New York flight with BA IS available for booking on the American Airlines site for £342 and what's more , if you are willing to not go direct and via Boston for example you can get the fare for as low as £216 pp inc tax. Guys,

I've found a return flight for £255 to New York (JFK).

Flying out from Gatwick on 26 Sep and landing back at Gatwick on 2 Oct 2007.

Plleeaasssee tell me this is good deal. I haven't found anything cheaper. I'm waiting to book before all the seats get snapped up!

I'll tell you where I found it after you guys tell me whether it's good or whether it sucks!! Mind you, with all you bargain hunters out there I'm sure you already know where it is anyway!!
