Hi, does the anytime talk @ £8 pm + line include BB??unlimited.

At the moment Sky are doing free BB for a year on a 12 months contract. So the cost would be £17.40 for Line Rental plus whatever call package you choose - £8pm for Anytime Extra.

If you don't have Sky TV they also have a voucher worth £100 if I remember correctly.

Hi jem, I don't want tv package, so all I require is Unlimited BB, unlimited calls , anytime, and calls to mobiles,( which I pay £5 pm extra for at TT). Been with them years, just shopping round, to see whether to move, IF they hike my package next month, when my Line rental is due upfront ? I'm out of contract.

Looks like TalkTalk are doing Anytime with mobiles at £7.50pm - got a flyer through the door yesterday. Following Sky really.

By the way the £100 voucher for taking up Sky with no TV is down to £50 today - M&S voucher. You could also use Quidco/Topcashback.

TalkTalk would be slightly cheaper for me and I would get the voucher whereas I won't with Sky as I already have TV. However it's an 18 month contract as opposed to 12 months. I'm also not very sure of TalkTalk's Customer service - haven't heard great reports about it.

I was with Sky last year and moved to PlusNet - now looking at moving back.

Thanks for that. I've had that flyer, but only new customers, I've been with Aol, then Cpw, now TT for 15 years, with no problems, no change of Isp, just a name change .
Don't want to move, ( who does).
At present I only pay line rental upfront, and £2.10p pm for Aol Platinum,(ex),+ £5 extra for mobiles,( rarely use, but handy), so a good deal,it's been that price for years, with no increase, but, doubt I will get away without one, when I renew Line.( IF)
Been out of contract over 12 months now.
    Don't like 18 month contract.

As always. I would have thought you could ask for that Anytime package as Sky will allow existing customers to move to their new Anytime Extra package.
    Don't like 18 month contract.

No neither do I but they all seem to be moving to that. I expect it won't be long before we see 2 year contracts.

Actually, 2 year contracts would be good.IF , they agreed that the contract does NOT alter during the 2 years. As it is, contracts are not worth the paper they are written on from ISP's.
I always stick my money in fixed rates , so it doesn't change during the term, why can't ISP's be forced to do the same.
OFCOM ?needs to get a grip of this.

    Hi diamonds,Thanks, never seen that.
It is what I am paying now, and have been for years.
    I pay £2.10 + £5 boost for mobiles,including a £5 discount for years from Aol days( loyalty):rotfl:
which is still showing on my plan.Same anytime calls
If I took this boost, I would have to cancel my £5 mobile boost.but, would have to pay for SB?
    My bill date is 16th.today.?
So if I log in, cancel my £5 boost and take this new boost, online, I should just pay the same,+ SB, so I will pay more.?
    Even though I don't like 18 monthers.
    Will look into it asap

Have you ever rung up to negotiate a new deal ?

Just dropping your £5 mobile add on and taking the special offer may not be possible or may trigger a new contract term. Sky customers can change calls packages, with no penalty, because Sky have initiated price rises even though they offer more services for the extra charge.

I rang them as I said, to try and beat the line rental increase. She asked me then, if I wanted to be put through to team, for a new contract.I said I would wait till line is due, then negotiate a deal, if possible. There's no way can I better what I;m on now, so, re-thinking, will just leave it alone for another month, unless they force my hand.
I only pay £7.10 pm for anytime calls, mobiles, and unlimited BB+ line rental.(already paid upfront) That won't be beaten.as I would have to negotiate Simply BB
