With respect to the OP receiving 19 messages - which may or may not be the case - then of course it isn't right if people are asking for personal info. Indeed, I would also consider it ''pestering'' to send pms to obtain such details.

I've sent a PM to people offering to do look-ups for them if they were happy to share the relevant information. There was no pestering involved - if the person didn't want to take me up on the offer, that's their decision.

Some people did take me up on the offer and I've found useful information for them.

It takes a brave person to admit they were lying... It takes an even braver person to admit they were lying on this forum

This board is full of savages who look for any excuse to gang up on someone! There was a thread a while ago that named a load of people who cause trouble on this board on purpose and have fake accounts to do it. 1 of those people named is in the mix in this thread stirring the pot, another has been registered a month but talks like they have been here for years and no suprise they are backing up the person stirring the pot! I'm starting to believe it was true... :(

It's usually pretty easy to work out people with multiple accounts as the writing style is similar. IP addresses are the same which is seen by admin so reporting such posts is usually enough to alert admin to their carp.

What an utterly vile and stupid post

What on earth happened to you to make you such an unpleasant person.

I'd suggest the OP may have acted unwisely whilst under extreme pressure and would probably find counselling useful but I fear you need far more intrusive help than that and I suggest you ask your GP for help as a matter of urgency. You are clearly very unwell catoutofthebag.

Sounds like you're a prude with a very pc sense of humour. Not suprised either with this forum. Cheer up. You're online too much. And it's only a forum.

For the life of me i cant believe this thread has got to 16 pages.
  • The OP should just forget about this thread and focus on sorting her own life and getting back on track. She does not owe us anything, not even the truth, and certainly not personal information about herself or her ex.

For the life of me I can't believe that 19 people on the whole forum would bother to pm the OP let alone 19 in one thread :D

I could throw in an incorrect hyphen.... but chose a few full stops instead!

    I'm calling it

Tomtomtom was named in that thread! If you are right about writing styles... Mr Costcutter has similarities to tomtomtom, especially with the way they are both using hyphens incorrectly. They are both actively doing the same thing and supporting each other with the thank banking.

You called? No, I'm not Mr Costcutter, and nor do I use hyphens incorrectly.

Oddly enough I've also been accused of being cbrown372 before now. I take it as a compliment ;)

(And having scanned through Mr CC's posts, cannot see any posting similarities ...)

I've has my suspicions about this thread from the very beginning, not because I don't believe that anything like this could happen, plenty of people here have relayed stories confirming it's not at all uncommon.

However, as alluded to earlier, there is a certain troll whose aim is to string out a long threads by drip feeding information, changing the story cover their tracks when things are getting close to being revealed as a hoax and with the purpose of causing divide and unrest amongst long-time users. They have a distinctive writing style designed to evoke sympathy and concern. This thread has all of that.

I'm surprised to see certain users, who have been victims of this troll before, haven't twigged yet.

    There, I said it.

Stop looking for people to back you up now to protect your little game. It is too much of a coincedence that you are both writing the same, within a few posts of each other and both ganging up in the same style. People are starting to see these patterns emerge :D

Please feel free to report your unfounded suspicions to the forum team. They can verify IP addresses and confirm that we are not one and the same ;)
