WOW MSE'S response was a RIDICULOUS cop-out. Basically 'Take it up with LS, it's nothing to do with us'. Scandalous.
Happy to cash in on the commission through each click and purchase though...
I recently posted a beauty box deal from All Boxed Up (from the MSE newsletter) and the responses on HUKD were quite scathing. http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/boxed-up-rrp-85-your-wedding-honeymoon-beauty-box-for-29-99-including-delivery-fake-2275282
"Horrendous company. I bought their last beauty box and 3 of their 5 products were substituted and they didn't respond to my emails!"
"I ordered some of their mystery beauty boxes and ended up with children's sun screen & a baby comforter - not exactly beauty products. Customer service very slow & hit & miss. I won't be using again."
The rather snarky comment weeks later "Have you seen any (of their deals) on MSE since?"....not sure what to make of that!

Can't see anyone has complained to Ralph Lauren using the counterfeit mail address on their terms and conditions and conditions, why?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

TBeckett - By all means report it to Trading Standards (via the CACS call centre 03454 04 05 06), but it looks like livingsocial are based in The United States of America, which is outside of UK Trading Standards jurisdiction.
There is a new system whereby Trading Standards (and their equivalents in most other countries) have linked up called econsumer dot gov.
The United States are one of the member countries.0 -
Sad to say, I assumed MSE's reputation would ensure a deal was trustworthy.
Instead alerted them and 'let them sort it out' before explaining what had happened in the newsletter.
I'm sure no-one was paid.0
