Silent Night is missing this morning
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5371468
Here's today's prize if anyone has time to check what happened and potentially start a new thread, please go ahead. I'm at least 3 hours away from being able to do so.

Have Carphone Warehouse ever posted the winners of their advent's names? They reply to a few comments but I haven't seen a winner notification post.0

This year is my fourth advent and no matter how many competitions I've entered each year it's been hard work.
But this year it's been much easier and I'm doing more than last year.
I don't think it's me so much, as the fact that the companies are spacing their advents out more so they're not all at the same time.0 -
I have received three parcels in the last two weeks (one just arrived about fifteen minutes ago) and not one has gotten my surname right
It isn't that difficult a name, I enter using the correct name and yet each company seem to be trying to out do each other getting it wrong! I am used to miss pronunciation, but these spellings give me a whole new name. spent the afternoon ridding my bookmarks of finished advents...back into the madness of advents I go:o:o

Companies always spell my village name wrong. Like I'm making it up and they know better how to spell it :rotfl: Don't pay any attention to the one who lives here!I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!0 -

I get that with my Christian name, which, while not common, isn't difficult to remember, and my surname which IS common (it's in the top 150 most common names in the country). I even get emails to my email address that consists of my full name where they then spell it wrong in the body of the message.
So, essentially "Dear X, I took the liberty of changing your name because obviously it's wrong in your email address and you haven't noticed. Or maybe my autocorrect changed it, but I figured you wouldn't notice/mind as you are probably used to it." :mad:Started comping May 2014- 26 wins so far.
Best wins
Baby swimming kit, Kindle Fire HD, VIP Disney on Ice tix, £75 Love2shop vouchers,
November wins
baby snack hamper, Capital One football, deodorant
COMPING GOAL - 50 prizes in 12 months 26/500 -
Well, the end is in sight! To be honest, I have found this year's Advents to be the least stressful so far. Maybe it is because I am more organised this year and have only entered for what I have really have wanted to win. I am pleased with the prizes I have won too - some have already arrived and some I am still waiting for. I am looking forward to the 24th though when the majority finish and then January is always a quiet month.
I've bought all my pressies and have them wrapped and ready to give. All I need to do now is get my food shopping in, which I am doing this weekend and throught next week. My kids are off school next week so less time to comp but I don't mind
Hope no one is feeling over stressed and if you haven't won - just remember there is still time, as many winners won't be drawn until the end:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
