    I wonder if the companies choose a winner who have said they would like something simple or 'normal' like a soup maker, a pair of slippers or a kindle for Christmas and ignore the sob stories? If I had the time, I would check out the winning entry!

    Speaking of competition post comments, I do laugh at the hijacking of them by disgruntled customers.


    E.g. "ooh, I'd love to win your hamper M&S but I'd much prefer the teatowels I ordered from you online 3 and 1/2 weeks ago! :mad:"

    I was given the Morphy Richards one as a present. I used it twice and it burnt the ingredients both times, and seemed to get stuck in its program. I sent it back for a refund and now make soup in a slow cooker ... they're more versatile :)

    I must say - I too am sick of the sob stories... not everyone wants dragged down because of your upsets.... and I'm not sure I'd want mine plastered all over fb!
