I've missed the advents this year, have been away :( Whats been the best one this year? I remember Dixons a couple of years ago was awesome! You picked 5 presents you wanted (tvs, electrical etc) and you got a chance to win them daily. Anything like that this year?

Curry's did something like that last year ;)

You ain't missed much, they have been naff

The Advents haven't been as good as previous years but I been pretty lucky so far and won a few large value prizes - and no sob stories from me! Infact, I think it has been my most least stressful year (because I have been selective in what I have entered) and most successful (probably due to luck) :)
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

I think Curry's actually stopped the year before (The Dixons name mostly went several years ago, same group anyway).

I'm getting bored with them now and skipping lots.

I have had 9 wins from them though ( nowhere as good as previous years)

    Toy sack
    Bayliss & Harding hamper
    Waffle maker
    Walking boots
    Selfie stick.
    £10 pub voucher
    Snowflake charm
Yokohama cap, beanie, brolly, gloves, tshirt & bag
    5 assorted choc stocking fillers

I've spent hours every day and not won a single advent. I'm slowly losing the will to live.
    :(:(:(
By the way thanks to everyone for posting comps, merry christmas and a happy (and lucky) new year everyone.

  • I think the most boring one is Deichmann. I don't get the hype about Pandora. I walked past one of their stores today and they'd set up a long queuing system outside the store and there must've been about 50 people there.

I quite enjoy the pet ones, and the beauty ones.
