Not really relevant to the OP..

It is relevant to the subject, and useful to moneysavers.

Perhaps you can explain quite how it is relevant to the subject.

Early May is not June/July. Do RJ fly to HKT or SIN?

It is not relevant to the topic in any way, shape or form.

Notwithstanding, I added to the conversation by stating that I had also found some inexpensive flights to the region, but made it clear that our posts were somewhat off-topic.

You seem to delight in unnecessarily criticising other posters' contributions, niftydigits, as if some sort of perfect, in your eyes, posting is required. It isn't.

I welcome the information about RJ flight prices.

This thread has been viewed 872 times, of course it helps others by sharing knowledge.

Cheap flights to Bangkok is not off topic.

Criticising others about their reasonable posts is not nice to moneysavers.

I'm almost sure that the poster above is not contributing anything on topic to the thread. I can't say categorically, as they are on ignore and I can't see their posts... but from past experience, they like to post on threads on which i appear...

We have decided on Emirates flights, like the flight times and less than £2k.
However, trying to book them and get all the way (past card details and reviewing itinery) and then an error message comes up
"Sorry, the system was unable to complete your booking. Please try again"
We've been trying all day :(

Really? Tell me how the information that RJ may charge £400 for a return in Economy to Bangkok in May has helped you....or anyone else for that matter.
You really need so add some sugar to your sour grapes. Let it go and move on...or it will eat away at your insides...
The thread is/was getting sidetracked and useful off-topic information should really have it's own thread, so that it is easier to find.
The RJ Business Class post deserved it's own thread. It certainly is of no use to the OP, as even if they were happy to add more stops to their trip, the RJ offer dates don't extend to their time of travel.
So further posts about RJ just took the thread further off topic.
Mentioning that fact isn't criticising. So wipe your tears away...

Then you get a cheap tiger airlines flight from Bangkok to Singapore/ Hong Kong/ Phuket (the latter isn't that far away from Bangkok in all honesty.) Might not be direct but Bangkok is a pretty major hub and can still get cheap flights to there. Or get a sleeper train - there an experience of there own.

I was just using it as an example as it is there down time so was saying if you shop around you'll probably get different priced flights.

Some don't half have a chip on the shoulder on here, must have got out the wrong side of the bed
    :T:T :beer: :beer::beer::beer: to the lil one :) :beer::beer::beer:

I think Niftydigits is the only poster I've ever put on my ignore list on MSE. Based on the replies I'm reading, this thread is a good example of why.
