  • No spending on the cards for the last few days, have been off work sick but I am starting to feel a bit better now so hopefully the worst of it has passed.

  • Hiya, sorry not been on for ages. I've been away on holiday but now back and need to get on here daily for inspiration.

OH wages in so I have sorted the budget for November and now that's done I am going to remove my joint account card from my purse so I don't spend on it. Also need to withdraw personal 'spends' so I stick to a cash amount each week.

Aim for a NSD tomorrow too. Have a good week all. I hope your cold is better Dolly.

Hope you are feeling perkier Dolly Rocker!
I haven't been great with my card use, but tomorrow will withdraw my weekly amount for the first time, so let's see how it goes!
I realised that I've been spending £8 a week on cereal bars at my slimming class, so I'm thinking about going without this week! When you add it up that's £416 a year. Ouch.
And I will take lunch to work every day hopefully, to avoid being tempted in the shops.
I am hoping to conquer my silly everyday spends before looking at my online shopping problem. I think I waste more than I realise on the dvd/magazine/nail polish purchases that I instantly forget! Maybe I ought to keep a diary of what I'm actually spending my money on.
Good luck for the week everyone!

  • Hey my lovelies,

How are you? I am finally better woo hoo, still got a wee cough but apart from that I feel normal.

So today is the 1st November 2015, how did that happen?!?! It feels like this year has just flown by us.

I am going to lift my cash out for the week & I will not be spending on any cards at all in November 2015.

By the end of this monthI am hoping that this will have formed the habit & I will be a cash only spender!

  • I know me too!!

I am going to be so much better at this in the new year.

I am just losing control of the finance, so much on this month & so little funds.

Glad you are much better also.
