The plastic-not-so-fantastic squad

My main is to stop using the plastic -debit or credit cards for day to day purchases & unplanned spendies.


I have also started writing down all my spends in a spending diary, I think that by doing both these things it is making me more aware of the money I am spending & this will hopefully lead to cutting out spends on not so essential items & saving for the required spends rather than bunging them on the cards.


I hope that some will join me in this.

I will admit to having used my debit card maybe once or twice this week, my bad.


Will be looking for a 100% week next week of using no cards at all.

Righto I am happy to announce a NSD & no spending on the plastic today either, this is due to the fact that I have not left my house all day but still I am claiming this one as a victory - woo hoo!!!

I spent on my debit card this morning as it is bucketing it down in Glasgow this morning so just ran to costa rather than the bank!!!

Will need to go to the bank on the way home.

Pouring here in North Norfolk but have been to get my cash out. No cards for me until I draw my weekly cash out Monday.

I am determined not to use my cards.

Yeah I am good.

managed my spends today with cash so I am happy with that.

I have like £3.00 left to spend of this weeks budget so the daily costa will be stopping as of Thursday!

Overspent last week so had less cash carried forward into this week - will try & not do that again.

I need to try & work some more NSD's in.
