Well done Dolly. If you can bring in a few NS days it makes it a lot easier getting to the end of the week
The Costas soon add upCan you not take your own coffee ? Not as nice agreed but cheaper.Even if you do that a couple of times a week.It will save you loads.
I have to go into town today so gonna keep my eyes firmly shut

I really could to be honest but I am not willing to right now, I love my wee coffee in the morning its my wee treat to myself.
I stopped spending on lunches & started taking my own into work each day so that I wouldn't have to sacrifice my daily costa! Terrible I know.
So no spending on the cards for me, I have however spent over my weekly budget already - not by a huge amount though so will just deduct it from next weeks amount.
Oh window shopping only! Good luck.

Fair enough Dolly If you already take your lunch then why not treat yourself to a Costa
I did spend a bit today but only out of my cash budget
Going to try for another NS tomorrow.Wish me luck x

Good luck you for tomorrow.
I am out for lunch with my bestie tomorrow & her wee boy not seen her properly since August - I am actually shocked at how long we have let that go, life has just taken over & the time has flown in.
I will try for a NSD on Sunday, I am planning on not leaving the house so should be easy.

Thanks Mavvymoo. It's got to the stage with me that I pay for something with debit card and then when I am looking at my bank account and see money waiting to come off I can't even remember what I bought.
I have been reading Dave Ramsay and he suggests cash rather than card to make me more aware of what I'm spending.
Also I need to track my spending so I know exactly what I've bought and what I've spent on it. I think I may go for the idea of having a wee notebook in my bag that I write everything down on.0 -
Hey allie23,
I am the same too much spending on the cards & it doesn't really feel real unless its cash.
I managed yesterday & will be going to the cash machine today before I meet my friend for some cheap pub grub so I can pay for that with cash too.
I also have a wee notebook, write all my daily spends in there.

Yep I agree I never think I am spending if I use a card and I cant remember what it was for either when the statment comes in
£8.50 spent on postage today but £41 in so all good and paid in cashI have £33 left of my budget with 2 days to go
I also use a note book to write my spends down now and it really helps
Have a nice weekend and cash only

Well I managed no card day & also a NSD.
I drove my friend to her mums so that she wouldn't have to get the train over with her wee boy so she paid for lunch which was nice of her.
