Hope you find the key Valli. I once dropped mine in the ticket office at a busy railway station and only realised once I was on the train!
Mumto5 Sorry about the job and the hospital appointment. Sounds like things are tough. Are there any free IT courses you could do to get a bit more up to date? There will be a job out there for you.
I seem to be slipping a bit as far as flying is concerned. Need to get my act together next week. Lots of little odd jobs on my to do list that need clearing too. But paid stuff first. Thank goodness its Friday.0 -
Morning all
Valli key finding vibes for you, they make modern cars so expensive for everything. Awful news on the RTA.
Mumto5 so sorry about the job, is it particular skills you need? I brushed up on mine on youtube, so many videos. You just need time to pratice it all..
I did clean the bathroom last night, apart from the shower which I plan to do before I get in it this morning. Dedicating a bit of time to flying every morning and evening this week before the paid stuff has made a big difference and even a seasoned flyer like me is pleased and surprised by this. I think was has helped is deciding in advance what I will do.
Busy in and out day today but lots of nice bits in there.
Flying to do:
[STRIKE]Clean shower
Hoover stairs and upstairs
WM1
Put washing on the line
Dry condensation
Mini food shop[/STRIKE]
Attempt to make sour dough bread
Wipe the undercoat from last week and do the top coat.
Have a good day all.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Commiserations and supportive vibes to Mumto5 - as YL says, there is a job out there for you, somewhere. Dusty, that's a brilliant idea to use Youtube tutorials :T
Key-hunting and memory-erasing vibes for Valli.
Have a restful day, CY.
We're out for most of today, but I need to get some paperwork done beforehand (the "to-do" mounds on the spare bed are slowly diminishing) and prepare some boxes to take with me to a big event tomorrow. Depending on what time we get home, I might do some work in the garden - or there again, I might not!
Hope everyone has a good day x
eta:  Just checked our Skoda Vehicle Identification Number and our car *is* one of those affected by the VW scandal. Nice car, actually does very good mileage, shame about the manufacturer (can't believe it was just down to two software engineers - somebody higher up the foodchain must have known) :mad:0 -
Morning all
Another full day here so will need to really be focused tonight as I've just been S&Sing each evening. As we've been busy then as well.
Loved my first unexpected but full week in work - not permanent I'm covering for someone till half term.
Need to set wm, quick morning tidy round and wash up.
CY I hope can get lots of rest and relaxation today after that mammoth session at hospital yesterday
Valli key finding vibes for you, and really sorry to read about the rta you came across, that must have been very upsetting
Bossy hope the headache cleared
Mum2five, job getting vibes for you and I hope that the hospital appt gets rescheduled very soon. Grr on your behalf at that being cancelled without your knowledge.
Pigpen hope the appt went well and you managed to get some knitting done, I'm sure your stall will be loaded with lovely wholly things, are you selling your dyed wool as well. That would look gorgeous with Hank's threaded on a dowel or curtain pole over the stall if you could fix one up, or even blag a clothes rail of someone to display it, the photos you post on her of it on your washing line look stunning.
Have a good day all.SPC~12 ot 124

Morning all
Hugs, sticks, spoons & vibes to all.
I have a huge to do list for today and no motivation to do it at all. I've woken up full of cold and feeling blugh but my leg is fine now except for a couple of big bruises. I have to go out on a few errands so I'm going to get moving soon. I'm just catching up on my online stuff then I'm going to take the dog for a walk to the pet shop to get his food. Then once home I'll head out to Mr A for milk again as DD left me just enough for a coffee so I've had to break out the UHT stuff again  I really need to book a delivery and get lots of bulky stuff delivered which will save money in the long run as I keep having to go and buy the sizes I can manage to carry home which in some cases works out more expensive. But I think I'm going to do some work until the temperature rises outside a little more. The dog brought his jumper to DD this morning to put on him and then climbed on my knee dragging the quilt with him so I think he's finding it a little chilly :rotfl:
I've told DD that if she wants a lazy Sunday watching TV then she has to help out with the housework tonight before I go out to work. It won't take long if she co-operates.

Morning lovelies :hello:
Late signing in this morning, ive developed man flu so was up half the night, then went back to bed about 5 and slept till 8, i take dd2 to school at 8.30 so was a bit of a rush, waited for her to get ready, in the meantime had a message off dd1 to say her hubby had an anxiety/panic attack through the night, she found him in a right state scribbling stuff down on a notepad, shes had to go to work cos shes acting manager today so is stressed, not good when preggers, hes off to the docs, its an ongoing problem which first started when she lost their first baby in February.
So, took dd2 to school, got back had a phone call to say shed left her dance kit and had an exam today so could I take it in, did that, came back, did the kitchen and bunged a beef casserole in the SC. Got work at 11.30 and its a really heavy job so theres something to look forward to .....not. oh woe is me......hahahaha
Need to sort the bathroom, its squalid.
key finding vibes to valli x
In a bit folks....x0 -
Afternoon all! Have been snoozing this morning. Didn't sleep well due to someone snoring. Unimpressed....
I feel reasonable, considering. Only one long session left. I have the dates for my final sessions. Hopefully I finish on Bonfire night.
Will check in tomorrow..:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Key-finding vibes Valli.
I'm late getting on here today; loads of online surveys *yawn* and of course the Noyz Boyz needed their walks and food.:o
I did a rather stressful online survey the other day which involved answering questions in real-time, like talking via online messenger, but it's netted me a £10 shopping voucher, to be put towards my new dressing gown. We also got a £5 voucher from our gas and leccy provider - they do a points system that you can exchange for either T£sco points or a shopping voucher, so that'll help, too. :money:
Harvey & Charlie go home tomorrow morning, so the plan is for Mr LW to move the sofa and the big heavy chair out from the wall so that I can do a thorough vacuum once they've been collected.
Next guest is Patch; she'll be arriving on Wednesday, so hopefully I can get some real Flying done before then.;)
CY I wouldn't normally say this, because fireworks are one of my pet hates in life, but roll on bonfire night, eh?;)If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
