  • Yesterday not quite according to plan, the beds and mattresses arrived but had to go back as the van had a leak in the roof and everything in it got wet. Replacement delivery now for tomorrow. Fortunately hadn't taken apart the current beds so the new bedding went on those so the boys were happy enough. Rooms are all clean and ready though.

Having a easier day after the last couple moving furniture and stuff in 3 rooms. Our room is half done but didn't have the energy for moving everything after the others so that will need to be finished (new bedding is lovely though!)

Basics only today, take care all you busy people.

Then get someone who knows what they are doing to wire the 2 ends of the chewed cable into it, the hoover should then work again. As for chewed hoover tools, ask on freecycle or similar or eby for the ones you need / use.

    Morning all

Hugs, sticks, spoons & vibes to all.

Didn't get much done yesterday except for work again! :o I did manage to get a shower, and run to Mr A for ink, but thats it. Finished work at 9pm, literally put everything laying around to do with it into one of the empty delivery boxes and went to bed :o:rotfl:

    RANT ALERT
DD stropped as usual when we got in. Its not my fault that the busiest season for me is October through December so I need the extra pair of hands to carry stuff or my deliveries would take longer than 3 hours due to having to return home  I reminded her that at least she's not sat at home preparing books (about 200 books to go out this time), then going out multiple times to collect them in (she comes out in the evening only), or processing the orders and the books when they're brought back, or going out on the additional delivery nights. She literally collects books with me one evening and then does deliveries one evening with me and gets paid for it! The only other thing I ask of her work related is for her to leave me alone on order day while I concentrate on entering it all on the system most of which I do while she's at school!!

Anyway, rant over. :p Today I have books to sort out which includes writing the newsletter and deliveries to make today and this evening. The house needs some flying done so I'm going to do that until 11am as its dishes, other dailies and juggling washing then ironing some blouses for DD so she has some for the rest of the week. It won't take long for me to do the two books I need to sort before todays delivery, and then I can do the rest when I get back.

Roadworks are gone so I could clean the front, but its raining so I'm not going to :p

Marvellous Monday! - a bit of everything!

    Morning all!

I've stripped our bed and it's in the WM.
The fridge has been emptied, cleaned and only put back what is in date and will get eaten. Ditto with the freezer. Lots of space now for batch cooking.
    DW unloaded.

Like Dusty we are sticking to the kitchen floor so that is next on my agenda. When I've done that I will have a look at todays list!

  • Morning all.

Last night's meal was lovely. I really enjoyed it and it was fantastic to feel normal for once.

I have slept in today, but now I am up I will be tidying the front room as DH has arranged for someone to give us a quote for a new window tonight. Sadly he didn't consult me... I will be out - as I am going for a meal with some friends from work.

Managed to get a mini statement from the bank last night - it looks like an online transaction has gone through twice. I must chase that up.

Hope everyone has a good day..
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

We have had a busy couple of days in Pooh house. The freezer is now in the store room and my hall is now a hall again with a chair where I can sit and have quiet time.

The living room currently has 100 bags of wood pellets in it so they need to be moved into the store asap and I can reclaim that space too.

I have to be honest. I have triggered sciatica down both legs when cleaning the bathroom yesterday. Have tried painkillers and walking to try to ease it. Bathroom it's absolutely spotless though and I am delighted with it :)

Also sorted out loss of jumpers and cardies we used to wear when we had no heating. They are going to refugees in Europe.

Mr P is doing whatever I ask and has just provided me with magazines and a cuppa :)

Wonderful suggestions Kaz - thanks so much - I hadn't even considered eBay for spare parts! Just saw multiple £££ for a new Dyson :( Total cost to repair and replace might be a tenner or less! Now just have to see if the insurance covers the sofa...sigh...

Aahh I do love working from home.

Put a wash on at tea break, and groceries delivered at lunch.

And I've made loads of phonecalls without being interrupted:)

I've been busy. Kitchen, dining room, hall and both bathrooms have been mopped. I've cleaned both bathrooms as well. I've remade our bed and hoovered the mattress very thoroughly.
All paintwork has been washed down in the Kichen/dining room.

I now need to do some more pricing up for the N C T nearly new sale that is in a couple of weeks. The clutter is going!
