I keep jumping on the flying wagon and falling straight off again:( House isn't looking great... I work full time (day time) and have just realised that I don't have any free evenings at home now until part way through half term! I know there are lots of really busy people on this thread. Any ideas of how I can make some headway and not wear myself into the ground? (

When you find out, please let me know!!! Basically speaking for myself, I just stagger on and ignore what I don't have time to deal with. Don't fret, just do a tiny bit when you can and feel pleased with yourself; it beats thinking of all the things you didn't do and feeling guilty about it.......

Fumbled my way down some sort of list today:
    - went to zumba
    - one load of washing hung out
    - did a few emails that need replies collected, set up a form to collate the replies
    - scored up a couple of assessments
    - spent some time looking at Google Calendar aghast as it lost my next 2 week's worth of appointments. Huh? I presume I over-wrote something. Luckily I had synchronised my tablet with it this morning but not this afternoon (when the disappearance happened) so was able to copy and re-enter appointments. then downloaded the next 2 week's diary as a pdf in case it happens again.
    - put a few things away in several rooms
    - went to flower club

Sounds like a lot of people are fed up with working long hours :( Hope you have a better day tomorrow.

I have done everything off my list today except for planting out the hyacinth bulbs and wallflowers that I bought yesterday - it has tipped down here for most of the day.

Yoga was rather painful - too much stretching up with both arms, which I simply can't do, with my torn tendon. The teacher suggested that I try again next week omitting the impossible, i.e. don't use my arms, but I'm not sure that I will get much benefit from that. It's a good job the tasters are free! My feeling at the moment is that I would be better off just doing more walking, rather than risk more injury to my shoulder.

    My list for tomorrow:
    - Dust LR
    - Hoover floor
    - Shake rugs and cushions outside, between showers
    - Clean standard lamps
    - Plant wallflowers and hyacinths (if dry)
    - Weed the front paving (if dry)
    - Deliver a card
    - Deliver bits to CS
    - Read and make notes on 2 more chapters
    - Charity accounts
    - Start new study course in the evening

Good Morning from a rainy West Yorkshire too!

Thunderstorms here last night and torrential rain. There was flooding up the high street!

Working from home today and "answer your phone" vibes needed as I've lots of things to wrap up.

Will also change all the single beds I think...

But first, I have small people to get ready for their day!

    Morning everyone

I am sooo tired. Had an argument with DS1 just before I went to bed, then OH was coughing, then DS2 woke up at 2.30am hearing noises (I think he was dreaming). Really dont know how I will get through the morning at work but it has to be done.

    Its strangely mild outside.

Right, better drag myself off for a shower. Have a good Wednesday everyone x

    Morning all
Hope all are as well as can be
Hugs good wishes posi vibes sticks and spoons where needed
Phone answering and tying up loose end vibes for bossy
Hope you had a lovely meal CY
Blanket sound lovely pigpen, stress free knitting vibes heading your way.

Did a little cross stitch last night, watched kinky boots DVD, about the factory that went from making sensible brogues to sexy boots for drag queens in an attempt to stay in business. It was quite good but a one watch. Think my mum will enjoy it.
Alarm guy came, really impressed with his demo and the product.
Didn't he the boys get back from the concert but in the early hours I went toilet and saw a pile of make up remover wipes covered in black eyeliner and his brace missing so didn't need to check the rooms. He'd gone with a black Stars and Stripes design on his face like one of their album covers. So has managed to use up two of my eyeliners and a pack of baby wipes.
They are up having breakfast now and it was a good night apparently.

Right another busy day so better get a shift on

Have a good day all and I'll try and catch up later.

    Morning all

YL coping vibes for today, being tired is horrid.

House really needs some flying but hey we have homemade soup and cake for today.

Need to drive DS3 to school as going in late after open evening so going to make another cuppa and head up to the shower.

I have nothing planned this evening after the paid stuff so should find time for some flying, starting ith the kitchen floor before we all become permanently stuck to it!
