Welcome newbies
Well it has taken me most of the day to reconcile and print out the charity accounts for the past 9 months - and I know I've still got a tiny bit of cash floating about somewhere, darned if I can find it, though! Thought I had finished, then realised we had updated the logo in the past year, so had to work out how to change the headers. All done now, thank goodness.
I have updated my diary and am already booking dates for 2017
Not much else achieved... Starting my course this evening. Hope my head clears during the 30-minute drive to get there, and hope I can find the venue in the dark!!!
Beautiful wool, pigpen. I am still looking for a pattern - I saw a handknitted jacket that I liked made up, but I was in a rush and it was hung up high, so I didn't have time to stop and get the assistant to fish it down for me. That was a month ago and 50 miles away, so I'm not likely to be going back
HM pasta bolognese for tea, nom-nom - should be ready now. I shall watch the Bake-Off final with DH when I get home; he's promised not to take a peek in the meantime and spoil the fun.0 -
I think I'm finished paid stuff. Kids collected and fed and currently building wooden railways. They are having showers soon and I need to make their beds - oops. They are eating crumpets at the moment.
Today has been productive just not in a flying sense! But DW is on, WM has been on and I've got tomorrow largely to myself bar a "help your child to read" session at school.
Lots to catch up on and pack for the weekend (again) so should be productive in a different way.
Welcome to new and delurking flyladiesBossymoo

I'm trying to be 'in'- normally a lurker but I pop up now and again. Feeling overwhelmed with how much I need to do, everywhere I look there's jobs to be done and just so tired.
Take a deep breath. It took a fair while to get like this so you won't get straight quickly so accept that. Now work out what will make the most difference and tomorrow do that. My list is now so long of outstanding things it is daunting but if you do a few things everyday you will start to take control back. I'm not looking at my list just doing the most important stuff, join me.
Since getting home from the paid stuff and doing dinner I have:
Dusted the LR
Cleaned the shower room
Tidied the kitchen
Put the washing on the maiden
making a cuppa then dusting the hallwayThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

YL coping vibes for today, being tired is horrid.
Thanks Dusty. Everything is getting a bit on top of me at the minute and I need to keep things in perspective. I am worried about DS1 as his behaviour is really irrational at the moment but this is nothing new and worrying wont help. We have got a new support worker who is lovely but she is full of suggestions and ideas and I have had to say to her that we have to go very very slowly or DS will go into meltdown.
Anyhow, flying is on hold for today. I slept for an hour this afternoon and will get an early night. Should have a bit of time to catch up tomorrow.0 -

Although this was mainly because I didn't take the girls to their swimming lessons, I just couldn't be bothered today, bad mummy. So I made them and OH a naughty lazy tea of egg on toast, and got a few jobs done. I have not had anything to eat this evening which is unheard of. I just don't want anything. Hope I'm not getting OH's man flu.
Piggers the wool is lovely. I wish I could knit. Well I can but only about an inch a year.
Iona hope you found and enjoyed your course.
Well, might just do one more little thing off the list before settling down for the night. See you all tomorrow x0 -

Thanks Dusty kitten. Managed to get the kitchen straighter and feel a bit calmer. Seem to have all sorts of extras to do at the moment DH's suit needs dry cleaning for a wedding, something's faulty and needs taking back, etc etc. Maybe a list would be good - or may make it worse!0 -
busy pricing and cleaning items for tabletop sale.
I have also diverted one to online sale as I think it will get more on Amazon.
I gave my mum the BNIB booster set for Cranium (we play games at Christmas/New Year) then googled it. When I told her the amazon price she said I had better have it back, to sell...:rotfl:
This is my sister's clear-out stuff; we shall split the takings. Lots is unwanted gifts. It's such a shame, really.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Better day today apart from going very faint and dizzy at the gym, probably should have eaten before I went, feeling better now except for a thumping headache
Flying wise I've put the ironing away and the DW on, not much but better than nowt!Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0
