I would hope these protesters were only using locally grown, seasonal, organic produce purchased from a co-operative. Coconuts and pineapples are definitely out."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
have you always been so slow on the uptake?
I didn't post the utterly stupid remark. I don't for one moment suspect the story is true. But if it was, people would not be taking issue with it for animal welfare reasons."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -

Demo's have been going on like this for ages.
There was one on the 8th July and another on the 21st July against these tax credit cuts to name just a couple.
But as I say, with Corbyn in charge the extremists think they have tacit approval of their vile actions.Graham_Devon wrote: »
As for being egged, John Prescott, a labour MP also got egged.
Prescott was and is a turd, but he had more than enough grounds to punch the yob that egged him at close range. One of the few things I don't dislike about him.Graham_Devon wrote: »As for the "poor scum" stuff - true, you are not going to find that in a protest type situation. Then again, the rich appear to have less to protest on the streets about and generally go straight for the jugular of the locals and councils.
That sounds a bit vague & conspiracy-theory-esque. But on balance I would prefer that anyone went "for the jugular of the locals and councils" than caused riots etc, which is what we'll probably end up with.Graham_Devon wrote: »
However, the rich get into their fair share of scuffles. The fox hunting demonstrations are enough to show that - and yes, you do have the "poor scum" type analogies in those situations. Pro hunting protestors also broke into and "stormed" the commons, physically assaulting a doorman and wrestling him to the ground in the process. These were tory supporting lads against labours fox hunting ban.
And they have my utter contempt also. And as a sidebar, the mere threat of the Tories re-introducing hunting is why I never have & never will vote Tory. But that's not really relevant.Graham_Devon wrote: »So I think it's unfair to suggest it's a thing of the left.
I don't think that or suggest that. I think it's a thing of the far left.0 -

You've missed John Major off that list. The first PM to openly surrender British sovereignty to terrorist demands.
There is no record of John Major praising the bullets and the bombs of the IRA.
Anyone with modicum of good will, education and intelligence will know that adversaries that had to compromise over the centuries.0 -
the bit about concrete blocks is probably too difficult for you to understand : try asking your parents or other responsible adults
Good advice, he'd certainly get a more informed explanation than you'd have given; but then if he'd asked a well trained dog there's a decent chance of that.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature. Blackwhite bellyfeel double plus good...0 -

Actually I think it's a pretty fair, and logical, point. If you're wealthy and have influence then you likely have more effective ways to influence events than these kinds of protests. Additionally, the better off you are the more you have to lose by being involved in these kinds of protests.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature.
