Maximum number of Halifax current accounts?

    I don't believe there is anything stopping you from having one Reward account and one basic Current account with Halifax. I was originally just going to switch into my existing Reward account for the £125 payment but now planning to open the basic current account too and use this to switch into since you get £125 very shortly after switch completes so can then use as a donor for others like Clydesdale, M&S etc. (As nothing in terms and conditions gives them the ability to reclaim the £125 once it's been paid to you even if you switch out straight after.)

    £125 for switching - use the Current Account Switch Service by 18th October 2015 to transfer and close your old account held elsewhere. If you've had cashback for switching since January 2012, we’re sorry but you don’t qualify.
