DS is on half term but have several engineer visits booked for this week, as things need fixing and Landlord pays for it.

Had one out yesterday who didn't even repair appliance, told me it was fixed, argued with me about the way media potrays news... and then said call us back if it stops working again.

Went to see my Dad, took DS to the dentist for tooth extraction, went and did a Halloween Treasure Hunt unexpectedly (took DS' mind of his numb face and missing tooth - first extraction :( ), came home and machine not working

So on phone to BG and booked yet another appointment for tomorrow morning!

Have won tickets to circus, so DS and I are going with a friend and his Mum tomorrow. another comper won tickets to the London Orbital and can't go, so DS and XandersMum and DS and I are going on Friday :j

In other news, I have been sitting and going through all my paperwork. My Dad had called and said there is a bank statement here for you... which was strange as not lived at his address for years. Got there, went to bank as did not recognise details, and it is for my sister who has the same initial as me...:rotfl:

So she has £7.19 sitting in 2 accounts she has forgotten about. Lucky her :rotfl:

I am slowly opening all my envelopes, and now realised, in future, open ALL mail as soon as received, even if i think junk! Just found a £5 M&S voucher in one unopened envelope! Can't even see how old it is...:rotfl:

also found some out of date vouchers, so am contacting the company to see if any chance of exchanging for valid ones.

I really must stop hoarding carp. It is not doing me any good.

Anyone know where to get rid of sims?
Unused and still in packaging. Some may have offers if not expired like £5 credit.

Used to be able to sell them on ebay but now noone wants even for 99p and free postage.

oh yes cashed out £5 paypal yesterday on swags. half way to £3 amazon instagc.

Waiting for more monies to clear on prolific academic and can cash out another £5.

    slowly trickling in.

found some old bank statements and realised had bank charges, so going to see if I can get those back.

Found an old TVL letter saying they had sent back £6 I paid them but I remember checking my account and it never came back, so going to chase them again for it.

Contacted a well known pc company yesterday about a £600 laptop that broken within 2 years. at the time they told me to get an engineers report and they would look at it. I had a newborn and PND, and tried ot get an engineers report. no one would give me one. Found paperwork last night and wrote to them saying at the time under SOGA 1979 it should have been repaired or replaced, I shouldn't have had to run around chasing for engineers reports.

It was a lot of money to lose having a newborn, I had to go and buy another laptop :( Will see how I get on with it.

And just generally opening all envelopes and taking care of all business, so one day, hopefully next year, will have a clean tidy house, with no carp!!!!

oh and as an aside. once again am putting in for PPI and bank charges having found reference numbers needed.

if anyone has had them in the past, I would suggest applying now as there will be a deadline coming soon, where they will stop allowing people to claim.

    so go do it now!!!!

:hello: and welcome. I will put up new thread in a few minutes.

Entirely upto you, you can go for the £5 and see how you get on. Then if you are happy up to £10 the next month.

When I started many moons ago lol, I started at £5 as never could make £10.

When I joined last month and went with the £10 and "failed" - If making money can be said to be a "failure" - This month I've "killed the hell out of it.." - so MY view is that if you start at the full level, and "fail" your mindset is saying "What can I do to increase my effectiveness next month ?"

I haven't done a car boot for about twenty years ! Must try one soon

Just bought something (online genealogy subscription) via quidco and they emailed to say I'd reached some bonus level and once my cashback has been confirmed they'll give me an extra £20. Which with the cash back means my subscription was free! Woohoo.

And I just had a PA survey for £10! Whether they approve it is another story but yay at least I might have some money coming in before Xmas.
