Hi everyone, Please can I join this challenge, I have tried doing this from time to time but could really do with getting my focus back to get together some xmas money.
This month I will be aiming for £6500 -
Well done, everyone, on the brilliant results so far:T:T:T
Sadly I've had plenty of money going out today (vet's bill:() and absolutely nothing coming in or even threatening to. Some watchers on a few of my eBay auctions but no definite bids as yet.
Still, tomorrow's another day:beer:0 -
Congratulations on the new arrival SuperChik! How lovely for you :grin heart
I forgot to say - from December I will be getting a permenant 7 hours per week extra at workI know it doesn't count towards this challenge but I've been after full time for years and it will definitely help us out so much. So wanted to share anyway
xx
That's great news. I bet that will make a little difference to life.0 -
A warm welcome and good luck with the challenge
Thanks - not a great start to the week... I was off work last week and when I got in this morning, I found someone had been using my desk. There were 3 empty coffee cups, 2 chocolate wrappers and my chair was broken. And my plant was dead. But on the bright side, whoever it was had left 11p amongst their rubbish so my total for today is.... 11p. :rotfl:0 -

Well it's not even 7am and I've made £6.85.
Logged into my Oyster card account online and noticed that my old card, which I thought I had cancelled years ago was still showing. So I cancelled it and have had £3.85 credit transferred to my current card and £3 added to my online account for the deposit on the old card. I'll use the £3 to buy more credit.
So if you're in London or if you've been on a trip to London and have any old Oyster cards knocking about, it's worth checking if there's any credit, even if not there may be a deposit to reclaim.
I found this MSE article which says there is £124 million of credit and deposits held by Transport for London on cards which haven't been used for over a year0 -
Well woke up to all my ebayers paid up, so another £19.68 transfered into saving account. Getting there slowly but surely.
Sorting my wardrobe out tonight, hopefully find some decent stuff to sell.
