  • Hi everyone, Please can I join this challenge, I have tried doing this from time to time but could really do with getting my focus back to get together some xmas money.

This month I will be aiming for £650
  • Well done, everyone, on the brilliant results so far:T:T:T

Sadly I've had plenty of money going out today (vet's bill:() and absolutely nothing coming in or even threatening to. Some watchers on a few of my eBay auctions but no definite bids as yet.

    Still, tomorrow's another day:beer:

A warm welcome and good luck with the challenge :D

Thanks - not a great start to the week... I was off work last week and when I got in this morning, I found someone had been using my desk. There were 3 empty coffee cups, 2 chocolate wrappers and my chair was broken. And my plant was dead. But on the bright side, whoever it was had left 11p amongst their rubbish so my total for today is.... 11p. :rotfl:

    Well it's not even 7am and I've made £6.85.

Logged into my Oyster card account online and noticed that my old card, which I thought I had cancelled years ago was still showing. So I cancelled it and have had £3.85 credit transferred to my current card and £3 added to my online account for the deposit on the old card. I'll use the £3 to buy more credit.

So if you're in London or if you've been on a trip to London and have any old Oyster cards knocking about, it's worth checking if there's any credit, even if not there may be a deposit to reclaim.

I found this MSE article which says there is £124 million of credit and deposits held by Transport for London on cards which haven't been used for over a year :o
  • Well woke up to all my ebayers paid up, so another £19.68 transfered into saving account. Getting there slowly but surely.

Sorting my wardrobe out tonight, hopefully find some decent stuff to sell.

  • This is me officially checking out for October as I am away for the rest of the month. I will of course be following your progress though so no slacking whilst I am gone haha. Good luck to you all.

All ebay now ended so another £1.19 to add after fee and my COS has paid in at £6.70.

Total for Oct £97.82 out of £30 target - would have been a close call without those two cheques though!!

    Target for Nov £100.00
    Nov 0/£100

    £10 a day:-
    Oct 15 £97.82/£30 Sept 15 £174/£150

    Car overpayment so far £244.00
