Hello. Guess who just cashed out £100 Payp on Sb.... does a happy dance.

While I'm in here. I bought something via bespoke offers the other day... it arrived on Tues. Thanks sooo much for the heads up on beat my price Aesop, I saved myself £48.80 off the RRP. Woohooo! And I got cashback for searching and I got cashback for buying .. though those haven't come in yet.

I'm also putting in £45 that I got as a refund/cashback on my duty free (they had the wrong things on our order so substituted and refunded. And I had £13 trade in on my new phone.. technically I suppose it was last month but I haven't declared it elsewhere..

    So £206.80!!

ION I'm up to over a dollar on Slidejoy... which Aesop posted about earlier in the month... the easiest free money ever!

Hope you're all having good weeks!

fabulous, and some of the other words Lynne found for me and I have forgotten already.

Yes I am upto a $1 on slidejoy and it's on the 8th! I am hoping to have about $5 in November to cash out.

well done CBC, hubby went to get his eyes tested on Sunday at S8ecsavers. Under strict instructions to get eyes tested and get out with prescription only, no glasses.

so he comes home and tells me it's my fault I have cost him £100!!!!! I told him to tell them he had an appointment and would come back another day to choose glasses and could he just have prescription!

so they conned him into buying 2 pairs. Although they wanted to charge nearly £200, but he told the optician he wasn't going to pay £200 and was about to walk out, when they negotiated it down for him!

I told and told him I could get him glasses on the internet for about £19 upwards, better than the £100!!!!

so be warned CBC, get a prescription and buy cheap! ie Asda, or online.

will say it again folks, claim for PPI now if you have ever had credit cards and loans, they are going to put a date on it and stop people claiming. get your money back now while you can.

I still have to put in one with C%p1 after being messed around and waiting for letter from other.

Remembered I had some years ago with barclaycard that I paid off in full, am sure had ppi on those.

oh an in other news, I knew the winner of the cat lottery yesterday :T and my referral won £5 on luckyphone :j so anyone thinking these things are a con.... it seems to be people I have told about these thigns are winning! :money::beer:
  • Sorry to hear about your husband's spec costs despite you warning him, Aesop. Men eh, what are they like?:rotfl:
I've already had my eyes tested (free:j) and have the prescription. It's just a case of buying the specs now.

I'm holding off until next month as I've big vet bills to pay and I doubt if much of it will qualify on my pet insurance. The compulsory excess is £75 anyway and medications/pills etc don't qualify so it's obvious I'm going to get very little, if anything, back when the total costs are worked out and the claim forms submitted. Seriously considering cancelling the policy after this bout of treatment as it's just a waste of money that I can better use elsewhere.:(

I got 50 points from Luckyphone the other day too for a referral who won:j. Have uploaded a cat photo to the cat lottery but haven't won yet! I'm sure all the things you recommend we sign up to are 100% genuine. I'd never have a moment's hesitation in following any of your advice, Aesop:A. It may sometimes take me a while to get round to it but It's not because I don't value what you advise us to do:o

it's people on facebook CBC who say I have looked into this and it's legit so I will sign up....

ummmm I never recommend things I haven't looked into first and tested and made sure no spam etc. Plus when you see a massive referral file doesn't it tell you it's legit?
  • Thanks for the heads up on Cat Lottery Aesop, I have entered my cats so fingers crossed!!

Hi all!! :j Hope everyone is well and sorry for the long silence last month. Baby #2 never did turn up in September as expected, but instead forced us to drag her out by the scruff of the neck 4th October!

Hence I wasn't good for a lot in September but did finally manage a grand total of £158.38, which I'll more than happily settle for lol.

Now I'm getting my legs back, I'm raring to go again. Will do my usual £10 please Aesop. Now we know which flavour we've got, there's quite a bit I can sell. Not to mention the unused birth pool I bought!!

Will catch up on posts later but hope everyone had a fab September and are on track for an even better October

Another 1p Roadkill to add - not exactly setting the world on fire this month lol. I do have a couple of bids on my eBay items so at least I'll have something to add at the weekend :-)
