    Hi Aesop et all

Bit late to the party this month, but still want to join in and go for the optimistic 10 pounds /day/300 for the month - if you wouldn't mind adding me please.

I didn't get round to posting my totals for last month, so will do now in the hope of inspiring others!

    Afternoon all :hello:

Had a very pleasant surprise last night when a man phoned to ask if I still had the computer work-station/desk for sale:j.. He was delighted with it and had a big van so didn't even need to dismantle it. Paid the asking price of £20 with no quibble and considering I got it 'free' with my first computer system back in 1998 I was well-chuffed:j
Well done CBC - what a lovely surprise eh

    Something for the savers now.

I have a plus account with TSB which is a current account earning 5% interest up to £2000. They now have a regular savings account for those with the current account.

You can put in £25 - £250 a month for 12 months also earning 5% so it's high for these days. The money is also available if you meet any emergency but you can't put back in any monies you take out IYSWIM.

I have just opened one on-line and am going to put my earnings from this thread into that every month up to the £250.

I have been looking at all my loyalty cards too and find a few with forgotten credits (which I won't add to my total but have on my xmas budget now) Nectar £8.60 Tesco £18.50 Boots £12.98 which is brilliant :) I am going to check all my other accounts today for forgotten money...

Good luck to everyone in their quests

  • Just saved £62 by discovering that my bank account has inclusive european ski insurance...and another saved £73 for european breakdown cover... i never knew that! although technically it isn't money that I have made...it's just less that I need to spend :D If it turns out that I have it left after the holiday budget is spent then I will physically put it into the earnings pot... yay... I wonder what other insurance I have!!!

I notice I have allsorts of different cover apparently...and my health issues and disabilities don't affect it!
