  • Some Amazon vouchers take my total up over £30 :j

I know it doesn't sound like much to most people, but considering I have a very low income anyway and have been feeling awful lately, physically and mentally, I'm pleased :)

well said CP. none of us think the amounts people make on here are trivial or small change. Everything anyone makes means a lot even if it is roadkill. That bit of money can make so much difference to someone's life. We never belittle anyone for anything they make.

    Well done.! :beer::money:

    Well said, Aesop:T

I did a tabletop sale this morning but didn't have queues of buyers fighting over my goods:(. Cleared £29 after fees which wasn't brilliant but it's £29 more than I had yesterday so I should be grateful. People kept asking if I had this and that for sale which I didn't and I was annoyed with myself as I had plenty of other stuff which I opted to leave at home this time and could have sold it as it was exactly what people were asking for:mad:.

Had an invite from eBay for 40 extra free listings for items starting between today and 15th plus 50% off final valuation fees:j. I'm always going on about never getting any of the extra free ones that everyone else seems to get so I'm chuffed. Will be hard-pressed to find 40 things to sell and get them photographed and listed in time though as would like to get them uploaded to run Sunday to Sunday. Everything's different so will need a different description and details for each of them. Have done 7 so far so it looks like a long night ahead!

    Have a good weekend, everyone:beer:
  • Aww thanks guys! I remember why I love this thread so much. You guys are lovely.

Just got in from work with £19.46p in tips. Happy with that.

Hope you all having a good weekend. I too had an invite for ebay 40% thing so must do that tomorrow.

    Evening all :hello:

Congrats to all making money so far and keep up the good work :)

I've had a lovely, lazy day today for once. We went out for a cheap lunch at a local establishment, walking all the way down the esplanade, and it was really nice. I had breaded haddock with a huge, dressed salad and ate the lot :rotfl:

Then had a walk through town and a mozy in some new-to-me shops that have opened since March. Weather wasn't brilliant but at least dry and no wind. Feel quite refreshed this evening.

It all counts for something and though I am quite new I don't get the sense anyone judges on here we all have our own stuff going on and that is respected by all so well done to you and I hope you feel better soon.

What you say is so true, Top Dollar:T

We all have our own problems to cope with and some months are much better than others for making a bit of extra money. Real life has a nasty habit sometimes of scuppering our hopes and plans and that's why this thread is such a lovely and supportive place to be:j. We're all here for each other, hoping one another does well and offering commiserations and hugs whenever needed:)

do you all use mysupermarket for checking food prices?

just had a look as want to use kerrygold coupon. amazon, aldi, poundland, poundworld all on there!!! boots and superdrug have been for a while.

I think I am going to have to go back to trying to shop at various places to save money

    Afternoon all :hello:

I always check with mysupermarket, especially things that I don't buy very often.

I tend to use the same shops for the same things unless there's an offer on somewhere else that's better.

I try to pop into £ str*ch and £ land every couple of weeks as well, as they, together with F F**ds, usually have good offers and I base my buying on their prices for brand basics.

I actually do most of my shopping in A*di, using my free delivery with Mr T every fortnight for things like bottled sparkling water and alcohol, as they tend to be cheaper and I don't have to carry the heavy stuff. I used to use L*dl but their F & V don't seem as good as A*di now.

I do save up my Nectar points and, a couple of times a year, go to Mr S. I often get something to wear there and then get some shopping. If lucky I manage to get some YS, but anyway I look at it as free as using Nectar ;) I think them too expensive to use generally.

It is a bit of a 'faff' using different shops but I find I do save quite a bit by shopping about where I can.

Made £ 2.50 on weekly scans so still trundling along.

Hope you all having a good Sunday
