It must be a day for helpers causing more work. Apparently I'm getting a delivery for ds1 to my house so I will have to pay 2nd lot of postage. Why not send it straight to him. Easier to do everything myself.

Oh dusty what a nightmare:(
Well you can tell the other granny is back - kitchen was clean when I got home:A
YL DS is struggling with his concentration levels too - although we did have a chat on Sunday after 10 days of 'meh' and he's improving now - I used school trip money as a dangling carrot which may have helped...
Man flu here too. Raided the cupboard for medical supplies and hoping for a good nights sleep. Team are all away tomorrow- except me, so looking forward to a nice peaceful day in my home office. And catching up with laundry;)
Right, small people are fed and I've cleaned up after dinner so it's time they got pjs on!Bossymoo

Strange working day today. The school had a flood yesterday and was due to reopen at 1 today. I was just about to take the dog out when I got a text saying the school would be closed and we could go and do our hour's work at 12 like normal. Quick dog walk and I made it for 12. There were 2 of us and we spent the hour tidying and sorting the outdoor toys. The school will still be closed tomorrow and my colleague said she would rather take the time off unpaid. I have 2 days off next week to take ds1 to hospital appointments so didn't really want another day less pay. Another colleague arrived as we were leaving so it was suggested that I stayed another hour and have tomorrow off so that's what I did:j We tidied the PE equipment. I had half an hour to have lunch and get to paid stuff number 2.
I did a bit more of yesterday's list and a bit of today's plus DW ,WM x2 and hanging both lots out on the line.

Catching up....Catching up...catch...ah, I'm there
How annoying for your mum Dusty - so frustrating all round.
Bunbun - that must've been a strange day at school - what caused the flooding? I remember that my secondary school regularly had floods following the heating system being fired up after the summer...burst pipes - the same ones that froze at the first hint of frost...
Still lovin' the pup Natty really cute!
Had a really busy day - kitchen is SPOTLESS :j I cleared the bags of apples to the covered porch of a local church with a sign saying "help yourself". Made three huge jars of pickled onions (that took ages) WM and TD on overtime and an hour's worth of ironing done. Sports club for Small paid for and chicken and dog food purchased. Just made apple and cinnamon muffins and having a quick dip while DH gets the log burner roaring.0 -

Wow Pigpen I am impressed, although you do have a lot of bodies to shop for so I can understand. Sorry to be miserable but I dont really look forward to Christmas. OH has a big family and they go mad with presents. They would never in a million years accept the idea of toning it down a bit.
Lots on today so unlikely to get much flying done. Have a good day everyone.0
