And of course to make sure there is an ample supply of toilet rolls. You will be issued with your own special mop and bucket, nice uniform (fluorescent green tabard with skull and crossbones on it) and your very own "cleaning in progress" sign, how cool is that?
Very thoughtful Nargle.
Furthermore,it occurs to me that scotmum maybe shouldn't have rum rations for the next few days....
I'll take care of that.
Here scotmum have another valium tablet.0 -

I hang my head in shame.
I'm afraid I've already drunk your [STRIKE]gin[STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE] rum,but I've got a barrel of Olde Fartinge Pirate's Finest
Rum hidden away,if you'd like a tipple. It's got quite a kick on it! :rotfl:
Go on,you know you want to.
And next time Hubert needs a hand getting levered into his spanx,I'll help,promise.0 -
Merry jig? About time we had some dancing on the good old SS Swobzedex!
Igor! What is that bunch of piratey scurvy dogs over there, with the musical instruments? Give them all the Olde Fartinge Pirate Rum they want, we want music! Chef! The cheesy pineapples, if you please! Hubert! Do us a fine jig, will you, we could all do with a laugh!
And here we go, with the traditional Pirate Hornpipe...one two three kick! One two three hop! Igor, get the musicians to play faster, this is a pirate party, not a wake! Must say, they be dressed oddly for pirates....since when did fishnet stockings and stilettos become part of the pirate uniform? What did you say they called themselves, Igor? One life - your life - live it!0 -
Blinking Nora,who invited them?
The Tardis was missing this morning,briefly...... I smell a rat....or is it a vole?!!!!!
HELGA! Your voles have been up to their wicked tricks again.Of all the nerve, inviting The Goode Olde Boys here for a knees up.I'm black affronted, that I be.
I reckon we should get the voles to dance a jig on the plank!

Quickly stopping by to say I bagged a NSD today - still no new bank card after losing my purse last week so learning to stretch as little money as possible as long as possible until the new card comes in the post. Also seriously tight on cash in the bank and actually enjoying seeing how little I can live on.
I'd join in the pirate chat but I don't really understand it 😳
Think my NSD total is now- 6/15

another NSD for us... taking our total so far to 4
We've never made it to this many NSDs so early in the month. Hope that promises good things for the rest of October. Going to try for another today so get my 3 in a row but the food cupboard has tumbleweed drifting across it. Will see what I can muster up for dinner. Otherwise I'll need to do a food shop tonight....
