In the background I can hear angry shouting in Swedish as Cheffie tries to wrestle away bags of broccoli and lettuce from the evil voles' clutches.Little does he know that they don't play by the rules.Oh yes, they've just gone for his ankles.

Hubert, please go and change your spanx. What do you mean you only brought one pair?!

  • The front page has been updated and we have 48 nsds and 20 hardy shipmates, which (whips out abacus) means that we have an average of 2 point something nsds each!!!

As usual the cauldron is impatient for a snack or two,so any nsds captured today will be gobbled up with relish.

Calm down, Cheffie, Tiddles was only trying to help chase the voles out of the galley, it was just a sad coincidence that he collided with you when you were carrying that huge pot of rum-braised shark stew.....we were all quite happy to make do with chocolate and cheesy nibbles, washed down with last year's beetroot Beaujolais! And Mrs Doyle has just the thing to get the stains out of your chef's whites. Make sure you're not wearing them though, take your skin off, that stuff will!

Ah, she has already been at you....and you were wearing them.....hence the red, angry patch on your chest...And the red, angry mush beneath the chef's hat......ooops!

Igor, stop whinging. If you insist on wearing stinky sharkskin lederhosen then you should expect Tiddles to show an interest. Now go and get some decent trousers on, the sight of your shredded unmentionables is putting me off my mid-afternoon cocktails on the foredeck.

And go and ask chief navigator scotmum when we are likely to reach the island, will you? And this time make sure it's the right island, check that treasure map again!

  • I don' think scotmum should be navigating...she just said 'We turn left at the lights and carry on for 2 miles.'!

I think that she's been traumatised by her close proximity to Hubert and his [STRIKE]fetid[STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE] sweetsmelling breath.

Right,Knit Witch you're at the helm!

Igor, fetch a stretcher. We need to get scotmum to the sick bay asap!

There, there scotmum, you won't have to suffer the crow's nest again, we have a different job for you for the next few days - heads cleaning duty! As there are about 30 of us altogether and only one lavatorial facility, we need a very special person to keep it all nice and sanitary-like. And of course to make sure there is an ample supply of toilet rolls. You will be issued with your own special mop and bucket, nice uniform (fluorescent green tabard with skull and crossbones on it) and your very own "cleaning in progress" sign, how cool is that?
