Now Mrs Doyle has a whole crate full of stale egg sarnies, and Igor reckons if someone can get near enough to chuck them in the water, the sharks will wolf the lot and when they are lying belly up and groaning with constipation, we can sneak past and go treasure hunting! Right, who's volunteering to go feed the sharks?

Look at Tiddles go! First time I have seen a cat swim like that - and look at how terrified the sharks are! Igor, I had my doubts when I delegated the job of finding a ship's cat to you, especially when I saw the size of the beast ( are you sure he's a kitten?) but he is going to be a valued member of the crew! Them pesky varmint voles won't stand a chance!

Good news...I got a grand shark tooth necklace, we have enough stores to feed us for months (I'm thinking shark curry, roast shark, shark and chips, shark stroganoff...), Igor has a fine new pair of sharkskin lederhosen, and our new ship's cat Tiddles has earned his first tot of rum!

Down, Tiddles, stop licking the captain's face, she already had a bath last Tuesday!

This Igor is a lion.A big cat with huge teeth and claws that will not take orders from you,Cheffie,marmite,Hubert and anyone else on this ship.....and especially not the voles.

Down, Tiddles! Yes, I know you love your Aunty Nargle, and all your other aunties and uncles on board, but ninety kilos of oversized kitten is not good when it's on your chest. Ah, that's better!
I think captain marmite may be right about your origins, that little ruff of darker fur around your neck does look like it could grow into a mane......

Ok mateys, jobs of the day - Hubert and scotmum - scrub out the crow's nest! The pair of you have left it in a disgusting state! The next pair to share the crow's nest will be Helga and knitwitch. Stop moaning, knitwitch, maybe Helga does have issues with little furry animals but at least you can get on with your knitting up there without Tiddles going for the wool!

Chef and Mrs Doyle - put away the stores of shark meat and do the menu plans. Hopefully there will be a bit of fruit and veg as well, for a bit of variety.

The rest of you - tidy up all the ropes. Whose idea was it to play " here kitty kitty " with a ninety kilo moggie?

Captain marmite and I will go for our usual morning swim and cocktail hour.

Oh, and Igor.....clean out Tiddles' s litter tray. Oh, it's not a litter tray it's your bed...
