The possibilty of finding Crunchie Bars in the treasure chest has finally beaten the fear of getting sea-sick, so I'm here again.....
Please put me down for 15 NSDs. Even though I made the 5-in-a-row last month (which I hadn't signed up for), I'm not signing up for it again this month.Cheryl0 -

NSD no 4.
Went on a walk with hubby. Walked over 4 miles to Eltham Palace. Used English Heritage card and visited the palace and its grounds. Had lunch out ( budgeted for - both meals plus drinks less than £8). Got bus back ( used Oyster card).2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

Ah,shipmates,shipmates,you've done yourselves proud!
Lots more nsds for the ever famished Cauldron.
You have earned yourselves brownie points in spades, arrr! :j
Now wouldn't you know...Cap'n Marmite is feeling a bit rough today (that rum is mighty good stuff),so if you'll be begging me pardon I will do the update tomorrow.
BTW has anyone thought of rescuing scotmum from Hubert's clutches...she might be overdue a bathroom break!
Right Igor,you can make my [STRIKE]hot rum[STRIKE][/STRIKE][/STRIKE] Ovaltine now!0 -
Nabbed another today so this takes me to 4 and 4 in a row :j:beer:Must use my stash up!0

Igor, you heard the captain, get up that mast now! Either it's started raining or scotmum is too late for the bathroom....And tell Chef that gutting messenger seagulls is not an Olympic sport.....I see Helga' s voles have multiplied, told you we needed a ship's cat! When we next put into port for ship's vittals I will nip out and find one, there must be a little puddy somewhere who would love a home on a pirate ship! One life - your life - live it!0

NSD #2
Stayed home after going to the shops for my dad &
helped him dig and get rid of the mud as we're getting a conservatory
built on the back of our house so we had to do all the footings.
Was fun& got muddy but it was worth it...
had a huge workout:xmassmile EF: £10/£2,700 :xmassmile Fun:£10/£1,000 :xmassmile SPC#054 = £9.00 / £100.00 :xmassmile

Have to stock up on rations for the resident gannets at Chateau Nargle, so no hopes for a NSD today. Will try tomorrow.
In the meantime, prepare to drop anchor, crew, we are putting in to this little island for a few hours while we get supplies. You can all have shore leave until eight bells this afternoon (that's four o clock in landlubber speak) so relax, enjoy yourselves, and do not do anything to bring the good name of the pirate ship Swobzedex into disrepute!
I shall go and find a ship's cat for our rodent infestation.
What's that, captain marmite? Oh, the pub' s over there. Yes, Hubert? No, I don't think they have a nail bar for you to touch up your polish. Yes, Igor? Well, you can try and get a suntan on your knees, but I would not count on it, it is October after all......One life - your life - live it!0 -
Tis a sunny day here in Marmiteland.
Well shipmates, try not to spend all your pennies today...the cauldron is complaining of being hungry and is not accepting any more of Igor's vindaloo sprouts curry from last Christmas,so get out there and get hunting for an nsd!
Happy Monday to all of you!
PS spendy weekend for me. :mad:0 -
I thought this was quite witty. :rotfl:0
