Hair of the donkey you mean (Hubert, one of the best donkeys going and looks great in heels too).....we understand, don't we crew?
Now,just to tide you over until supper (pilchard surprise kedgeree with a side dish of pickled pistachio and rum truffles) here's a few egg sarnies..... don't think of refusing either...Mrs Doyle's radar works better than well, just about anything....and she will know if you don't eat them.Nargleblast wrote: »And seeing as today's hairdressing bill was a planned spend and the money taken out and counted in yesterday's spendy day, I declare today as NSD number 1 for First Mate Nargle!
There be a fair wind southwards, methinks Chef has been serving pickled herring and beans for lunch.....don't envy scotmum sharing the crow's nest with Hubert.......
That be good, fair lady! :j (is that piratey?).
Oh pickled herring and beans,my favourite... 'sobs in a corner'.
Remember Nargle if anyone can handle Hubert's histrionics,it's scotmum.
Though it must be a bit cramped up there.... I wondered why she had a clothes peg attached to her hooter.Hubert's natural perfume is certainly pungent. :rotfl:
Naughty me,shouldn't laugh.
Friday night and methinks that a bit of a party is in the air.....and rum rations soon....let's let our hair down and have a fun night! :j0 -
Calling in for another NSD for me, and I earned another £10 tips at work today so that gives me £22 tips on the last 2 days which is a blessing as it gives me food shopping or 3/4 tank of petrol ☺️0

I'm so very pleased to report NSD #1 .
Argued with myself a little bit on whether I should get a cup of coffee for the bus home or not,
and decided that because a bus I could get on to go home was outside the shop,
I thought I may as well get on it and go home for one.
Had a bit of a kip on the bus instead.
And I'm so glad I waited to have my coffee at home
(well, okay it's tea but still...) because Someone opened chocolate digestives....;):xmassmile EF: £10/£2,700 :xmassmile Fun:£10/£1,000 :xmassmile SPC#054 = £9.00 / £100.00 :xmassmile

NSD no 2
Did someone say rum. I love rum. Strawberry Daiquiri please. Or some delicious rum raisin ice-cream. Or my favourite chocolate rum truffles. ( especially from the chocolate shop in York that makes their own chocolates on site - it is called Monk Bar Chocolatier).2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons
