Evening all
Quite a spendy day today as we went out to a local country fair event, which we go to every year. Apart from the entrance fee and a pasty for lunch, OH bought some waterproof leggings for his outdoor pursuits, and I managed to get a really nice, new, branded coat for £29.99 :T I have been looking for one as I have lost weight and those I have are now too big, but I didn't want to spend a fortune. Now the baggy ones can go back to the CS from whence they came. I am keeping just one nice, warm, more formal looking woollen coat, plus the new, more casual one and I now have much more room on the coat hanging rack
It was puppy's first proper outing, and he made lots of friendsHe isn't very good at walking on his lead yet, and gets tired (he is only 14 weeks old), so I had the idea of taking an old shopping basket for him to sit in when he got tired. He is very small, but is wriggly to carry and this worked much better
Apart from that:
Car boot first thing this morning, but apart from 50p for a waterproof apron for baby GD, (which will save lots of wet clothes) I only bought a few bits for my sales unit
Used up more of the food / leftovers mountain that seems to have accumulated :T
Did a survey for Yougov
Unloaded the shop stuff from yesterday from my car - I still need to find a home for most of it, which I will do in the morning. I want to empty a couple of boxes as I have more to pack up tomorrow, and don't want to buy more storage.
Watered some of the remaining garden pots
Picked the few raspberries that are ready, for my breakfast porridge tomorrow
Picked and cooked some beetroot
Pulled some weeds for the chickens, who thanked me with 2 fresh eggs
Early night I think, as I am shattered for some reason!0 -
Important news for iPhone ios 9 users:
Is your iPhone running ios9? Do you have a limited amount of internet data each month on your contract? You need to change your iPhone settings now to avoid potentially massive bills.
The new ios9 automatically turns on WiFi Assist. This setting automatically connects you to 4G WiFi if it thinks your connection to 3G is going too slowly. On some contracts this can be very expensive. The solution is to turn off WiFi Assist by pressing three icons:

Good evening everyone
Today has been totally manic and I am literally just stopping. My DH is getting ill again - he hasn't gotten out of bed at all today. I'm not sure what to do, or how I plan to cope if he decides he's having another breakdownHe missed DS's party - but the little 'un had loads of fun anyway.
Today's list
[STRIKE]:D tutoring[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:D 15 mins housework and declutter[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:D take DD to a free trial tumbling class[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:D DS birthday party this afternoon[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:D batch cooking for next week - I still haven't found anything to do with my beetroot that I like the sound of[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:D schoolwork if I can face it - I really don't want to fall behind[/STRIKE][/QUOTE]
I only managed an hour of schoolwork, while DD was at her dance class - which she loved and wants to go back to. Then party and batch cooking for the week ahead. Pleased to report that the manflu seems to be on the retreat. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Bob, did you have a nice family weekend? I think you said you had plans for what could your last weekend as a three?
Thanks LegoMum you have a good memory. Yes we took son to the Monument then on to the Museum of London as he is studying the Great Fire of London at school. It was a lovely day. He's a bit poorly though with a high temp so may or may not go to school tommorow. OH will work from home if necessary. Hope your boys are well too." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Very overstretched in terms of mental health services, but I am also very aware that support will only work if he decides that's what he wants... He needs to reach that point himself I think, and I need to be there if and when he decides to take action. Not giving up
