The police wouldn't tell you where he was (unless he said it was ok for them to do so) but would be able to tell you if he is safe and well.0

I would phone 101, pass on everything you've typed here and then at least it has been logged and if anything has happened you can show you have made the right moves to find him - if you've tried to contact and cant get through and he doesn't have social media then youre a bit stuck. At least if you pass on your concerns tho you wont be worrying about it (as much).0

In the meantime, would it be out of order to sort his room out? It's a bit of a mess and smells
Check he's not lying under the bed first :eek:Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

Just a thought but if God forbid she's in ICU then that could by why his phone is off a stretch I know but might explain it
Also if she is seriously ill he might not be in the mood to make contact with people or just has more pressing things on his mind
We did consider this, though we have been trying to call for 2 weeks now which is a long time to be turned off for. However as his ex doesn't know anything it makes me think that nothing has happened to his Nan.Person_one wrote: »You're going to call 101 'later' but waste time fussing around his room first?
Why are you so averse to calling 101 that you're now using delaying tactics? Look, I've done it a few times, the people who answer are perfectly friendly and nice, if you explain the situation it'll be straightforward and easy, its not a stressful or difficult thing to do at all, I promise.
I don't want to tidy right now - I meant within the next few days or something! I'm at work now, and I'm just planning to wait until I get home to call 101 as it's difficult to make those sort of calls at work.0 -
do you know where he works? if so, can you call there?0

I've obviously checked his room just to make sure he wasn't there, but I have to admit I didn't check under the bed!19lottie82 wrote: »do you know where he works? if so, can you call there?
He is self employed so works at a different place every day. He is a really difficult person to get hold of as I'm finding out!The police wouldn't tell you where he was (unless he said it was ok for them to do so) but would be able to tell you if he is safe and well.
Would they be able to tell me if he isn't safe an well?0 -
Do you know the names of any of his other friends who you could contact through facebook?0

Have you tried googling his name?
Might bring up crime or accident reports in a local paper somewhere.
If you know where he's from, have you tried bt.com with his surname? Should find some of his family that way.
Did he ever use your landline to phone his family? If so you could check dialled numbers on your online phonebill.0 -
Shallow Grave was on the telly a few weeks back.
