Saturday blessings...
1. This one's for Friday actually, when got my first tattoo at the age of blprblprblpr years old. I was surprised how painless it was, and am very pleased with the result. I don't think I'll be having any more but it has very special meaning to do with my sobriety
2. Found some separates undies in pretty pink which is the one colour I didn't have, for a total of £7.50p
3. A big salad roll for lunch made with a Mr M's herb and garlic rustic roll, or 'pillow' as my family calls it. Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, mushroom, grated carrot and hard boiled egg with a smattering of mayo instead of spread, it was delicious, inexpensive and very, very filling .I haven't found space for anything else today
4. Still no rain here so watering the garden every evening and having a nice chat about the day with DNeighbours
5. Looking forward to Live at the Apollo with Al Murray and Shapi Khorsandi, two of my favourite comedians, later this evening.
Totally out of context, has anybody else noticed that when typing in English English the red line shows under some words as a misspelling (colour, neighbour, favourite etc) but when I remove the u it goes? I'm very proud of being English, and of its language, so I do hope the powers that be can change it. Sorry to bring this up in totally the wrong place but don't know where to mention it. Perhaps a board guide could point me in the right direction, please. .:o
Night night, God bless and hugs to everyone

2) DH took the boys to the beach so I could get on with some jobs.
3) Neighbour gave me some rhubarb - enough for a cake and a crumble (which we had tonight).
4) Found a bottle of Pimms at the back of the cupboard so made a nice jug of that with apple, fresh mint, lemon and grapes.
5) Went through all DS2's toy boxes with him and he was very good and got rid of loads of toys he no longer plays with.

Hi all
Missed ages and ages, will catch up soon. I was in Bruges with DH for a few days and then came back to a few more busy days. Here are some pleasures in no particular order:
1 - The weather - absolute bliss!
2 - The time in Bruges was spectacularly nice and relaxing, loved it (and we both really needed the break!)
3 - DH is no longer at risk of redundancy (for the time being) thanks God!
4 - Nice walk with friend today, shopping at LIDL and cup of tea at Starbucks (I know, I know, but I made two cups from one tea bag and had cakes bought at the Sainsburys bakery, so it was not a bank-breaker!).
5 - Lovely sunset from the window.
Love to all and goodnight xxxFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
