    Hello everyone,

I like this thread! Its nice to see everyone happy.

Well, my 5 OS pleasures for today are....

1 - a cinamon and raisin loaf in the bread machine
2 - slightly unsuccessful lancashire hotpot made in the SC (I'm new to SCs and didn't follow a recipe!) was rescued
3 - having a lovely clean house after blitzing it with hubby at the weekend
4 - walking to work (I refuse to pay £3 per day to park and the exercise dos me good!)
5 - planning what to take to work for lunch tomorrow.

Some fairly routine stuff there really, but the bread especially makes me happy and feel all 'domestic' :-)

  • :T to thriftlady for resurrecting this thread. :A

Today my OS pleasures will be: -

    1. Making a HM loaf in the BM that will be ready just as DS and DD return home from school - they love just-baked bread. Yum.

    2. Going into DS's bedroom this morning to open the curtains  and finding that he doesn't have a laundry basket-worth of dirty clothes on his bedroom floor. :j

    3. Peeling, chopping, stewing and freezing the bag of apples one of my bosses gave me.

    4. Using one of the portions of stewed apples already in my freezer to make an apple pie for pudding today.

    5. Getting rid of the ironing pile that seems to have appeared out of nowhere.

Wishing you all a thrilling OS Tuesday. x

    2. HM apple and mint jelly from local bogof apples and mint from the garden

    3. Parkin to be made this morning

    4. Ironing whilst listening to the radio - I actually like ironing (but not putting it away afterwards)

    5. Dh's pleasure at coming home to a clean and tidy house and a HM meal - he's had to eat out at restaurants 6 nights out of the last 8.
